A huge part of growing up is learning how to care for yourself and your kid can do that with the sims 4 be useful formative moment!
Formative moments were introduced to the game with The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits and they let your sim’s childhoods have a stronger impact on them.
The Sims 4 Be Useful Formative Moment
- “I can show how useful I am by helping out and cleaning up!”
The only task you have is to have your child help out and clean but you have to do tasks ten times so you have a lot of options. Your first option is to have your sim clean up their toys.
To do this you’ll need a toy box on your lot and to have your sim play with some toys out of the toy box. Then you can click on the toy box and chose clean up toys and your sim will tidy up.
The next option is to clean up any food or dishes that are laying around after a sim eats!
Cleaning up spoiled food will fill up your sim’s trash can and emptying the trash is a great way to do this. You’ll need to have a regular indoor garbage can and an outdoor one too.
You’ll click the indoor bin and choose empty trash and your sim will bring the trash from that bin to the larger one outside.
If you have The Sims 4: Parenthood toddlers and children will make messes on the ground all the time. Your sim can click on those paint messes and choose the clean up option and the sim will mop it up!
Your sim can also just clean up wet messes with mops on the ground too!
Everyone’s Little Helper Formative Moment Trait
When your sim finishes the sims 4 be useful formative moment they’ll get the everyone’s little helper trait. This has a description that reads “As a child, this Sim wanted to be extra useful and helped out with cleaning and caring for the house! As they get old, they’ll advance more quickly in Teen and Adult part-time careers.”
With every part time job I’ve ever had I was always cleaning at the job, so your sim is going to have an easier time getting promotions in part time careers.
