For this part of the formative moment you’ll want to click on your sim’s bed and choose read under covers. Your sim will go under the blankets and read a book and it will satisfy this requirement!
- “Writing a book is the ultimate preparation for a writing career.”
The next task is to have your sim write their first book! However, you need to satisfy two requirements first. Your sim must first reach level 7 or higher of the creativity skill and they also need to play with dolls on any of the dollhouses in the game.
Once you’ve done this you’ll find the write genre book option appear on the computer for this sim. You’ll click that and then choose write doll house story.

The final thing you need to do is increase your sim’s library of books! You’ll click on a bookcase and choose purchase books. When you do this a menu will open and you’ll choose any three books to purchase and click the checkmark.

When you finish the sims 4 be an aspiring author formative moment your sim will get a bonus trait. This trait’s name is aspiring author and it’s description reads “As a child, this Sim spent a lot of time reading and writing. As an adult, they’ll advance more quickly in the writer career.”
