This aspiration comes with The Sims 4: Home Chef Hustle which brings fun little appliances like a waffle maker to your game.
The aspiration has you prepping ingredients and cooking delicious food for your sims!

When you have a sim start with a food aspiration like this one or master chef you’ll get the essence of flavour bonus trait. This trait makes you create higher quality food and drink which is so nice!
Higher quality food is great because it gives sims positive moodlets that you can use to your advantage.
Best Traits for The Sims 4 Appliance Wiz Aspiration
There are certain traits that you’ll want to give your sims when they have this aspiration, here are some good ones:
- Creative: Part of this aspiration requires you to be inspired, and creative sims get inspired moodlets randomly!
- Foodie: You’re going to be cooking so much, and foodie sims love to eat!
- Essence of Flavor: This trait is given to sims who start with a food aspiration and is great for this because you’ll have to create excellent quality prepped ingredients.
You can also be smart and add good lot traits to your sim’s household:
- Homey: The homey trait gives huge boosts to gaining the cooking skill!
- Chef’s Kitchen: This trait comes with The Sims 4: City Living and gives a boost to cooking skills and can give random inspired moodlets.
Stages of the Aspiration
There are four stages of the sims 4 appliance wiz aspiration to work through. Each stage has specific tasks you need to complete and when you do them you’ll get satisfaction points to spend!
Stage One: Chop Chopper
- Collect Prepped Ingredients 5 Times While Inspired
The first part of this aspiration requires you to collect prepped ingredients while inspired. To do this you’ll want to first get inspired which you can do in a lot of ways but the easiest way is to take a thoughtful shower.
Once you have an inspired moodlet on your sim you’ll want to click on a stand mixer and choose prep ingredients and a menu will appear showing all the options you have from batter to seafood.
To finish the parts of the aspiration you need to click on the stand mixer and choose collect prepped ingredients. To satisfy the requirement your sim must be inspired when collecting not inspired when they start the process.
When a sim collects their prepped ingredients they’ll appear in your sims inventory and will expire within 24 hours. You can place them in the fridge and they’ll be good for 12 days!
- Own 1 Small Kitchen Appliance
This part of the aspiration is easy all you need to do is purchase one of the three small appliances for this. Either the waffle maker, stand mixer, or pizza oven. You’ll need the stand mixer and waffle maker for sure to finish this aspiration so purchase those ones!
Stage Two: Slicer and Dicer
There is nothing better than finding ways to make your sim’s cooking easier and faster. When you prep ingredients at a stand mixer you’ll then be able to cook meals so much faster.
For this your sim needs to experience sped up cooking five times, so you’ll want to click on a stove or fridge and click cook. Then, find one of the cooking options that has one of the items you’ve already prepared as an ingredients and cook it. This is how you do sped up cooking!
You can also experience sped up cooking by using a waffle maker or a pizza oven. You’ll click on those machines and find one that has the batter or prepped veggies that you’ve already made to satisfy these requirements!
- Collect 3 Prepped Ingredients That Were Made Using Fresh Ingredients
There’s nothing better than using fresh ingredients to make food, and you can create prepped ingredients with fresh items! Here’s the items you can make:
- Batter: Milk or Egg
- Prepped Vegetables: Any 3 Vegetables
- Prepped Seafood: Any 3 Fish
You can get fish by catching fish at any fishing location! You can get vegetables through gardening by purchasing vegetable seed packets! You can get milk and eggs with The Sims 4: Cottage Living by having chickens or cows.
Stage Three: Flavour Fusionist
- Collect 1 Excellent Quality Prepped Ingredient
All food you prepare in The Sims 4 has a quality ranking with excellent being something to strive for. There are a few factors that go into your sim’s ability to make excellent quality prepped ingredients:
- Your sim’s level of the cooking skill
- Your sim’s mood, inspired being best
- Your sim’s needs because hungry sims can’t make good food!
If you make sure that your sim has a high level of the cooking skill, is inspired when prepping and their needs are taken care of, getting excellent is easy.
- Cook 5 Times While Listening to Music
Cooking and listening to music is great, and keeps me focused. To cook while listening to music you’ll need a stereo in your sim’s kitchen!
You’ll click on the stereo and choose listen to and choose a genre of music, then immediately get your sims to start cooking.
This need will get satisfied by either cooking full meals or prepping ingredients on a stand mixer.
If you have The Sims 4: Fitness Stuff you can also do this by listening to music on headphones!
- Cook Meals Using 6 Unique Prepped Ingredients
Your next task is to cook meals using six unique prepped ingredients. This means you’ll need to cook a meal with each of the ingredients including:
- Cookie Dough
- Batter
- Prepped Veggies
- Prepped Meat
- Prepped Seafood
- Dough
You’ll need to cook a meal that includes each of these!
Stage Four: Mixing Maestro
This is so darn silly and I love it. For this requirement to be met you’ll need to cook the pleasantly unpleasant waffles that have special ingredients:
- Batter (1)
- Strawberries (1)
- Trash Fruit (1)
The first two are easy to get! You can prep some batter on the stand mixer and get a pack of start fruits and open them and you should find a strawberry that you can plant and grow.
The trash fruit requirement isn’t as easy. To make trash fruit you need to have a pile of garbage stay on your sim’s lot outdoors for over 24 hours, closer to 36 hours. At that point it’ll turn into a trash plant and a few days after you leave the trash you’ll be able to harvest the trash fruit from it to make the waffles.
These look so disgusting with little garbage can shaped sprinkles and a trash fruit on one side, at least they’re heart shaped! When a sim eats these they’ll get a +1 Angry moodlet that lasts 4 hours!
- Make a Prepped Ingredient Using a Stand Mixer With At Least 1 Upgrade
The next thing you need to do is upgrade your sim’s stand mixer at least once and then prep some ingredients. There are three upgrades you can add but to do any of them you’ll need at least level four of the handiness skill and will need to purchase the proper upgrade parts.
Once you’ve added an upgrade you’ll just prepare more ingredients and it will satisfy this need.
- Cook 2 Pizzas or Waffles at a Single Goaled Social Event After Reaching Silver
The final thing your sim needs to do is throw a social event! For this you can throw a dinner party or house party and work through some of the goals until it reaches the silver level.
Once at silver, your sim can either make two waffles or two pizzas or one of each before the event ends and this need will be completed.
Batch Cook Reward Trait
When you have a sim finish the sims 4 appliance wiz aspiration you’ll receive the batch cook reward trait. This trait’s description says “Sims with this trait get duplicates of any recipe they cook with Prepped Ingredients.“
This means that any time you use any prepped ingredients from the stand mixer, you’ll get a notification telling you that you cooked extra servings! This means you’ll get double the amount of food, put that in your fridge and feed your family!
If you were to finish this aspiration and the master chef aspiration you’ll also get the fresh chef reward trait. This is epic because you can have all of your food never spoil and get extra servings so you can serve your sim’s future generations for years!
