Emotion Potions
Your sim is also able to craft emotion potions on the apothecary table. These are drinks that when consumed give the sim a powerful moodlet to change their emotions. These are also a requirement for many of the elixirs on this list.

At level 10 of the skill your sim can craft any emotion potion by just using one other potion. For example, you can bottle a sim’s happy emotion and then craft it into another potion without any other inputs. This is awesome if you need negative potions but find it harder to find those.
Emotion Stone
The emotion stone is unlocked at level 6 of the sims 4 apothecary skill and lets you detect emotions from other sims or even bottle emotions to use in other potions. These require you to have the following:
- 1 Lump of Moss
- 1 Lightning Root Leaf
- 2 Sage
When you craft this it will end up in the apothecary table’s inventory and you are able to click on it and drag it into your sim’s inventory. You can then click on it and choose to bottle your own sim’s emotion or you can click another sim and choose to bottle their emotion under the apothecary menu.

The emotion stone only has a few uses to it before it breaks though, so you may need to craft another one.
