To get this fable you’ll need to find Joe Trader, the Tradesperson. You’ll find this sim often near the fable board in Sprucederry Grove.
You’ll click on this sim and choose acquire a fable and pick this one from the menu that opens.

“A freezer so sunny, this cute Social Bunny, was bouncing along in the grass. She took a big hop before needing to stop and peer at a tiny young lass. This chicken was caught, in a moment of thought, watching Sims try out some composting. ‘I’ll bet you a grand, if you can withstand, competitive social trash-posting.’ The chick said ‘For sure!’, they knew they’d endure for their beak was good with collision. But to prevent damage, the chicken must manage a slow ‘n steady disposition.”
- Collect Bottled Emotion from a Moody Shrub
A moody shrub is a specific type of plant that you can find in Everdew to the left of the Starsong lounge.
You’ll click on that plant and choose collect bottled emotions and your sim will get a few bottled emotions into their inventory.
If you do the not mushroom for error fable you can actually get a moody shrub seed to plant in your own lot and bottle emotions from that too.
- Bathe in Natural Water
Bathing in natural water comes with the natural living skill and lets your sims get clean without a shower. For this you’ll need to click on water that isn’t too shallow but isn’t too deep and choose bathe in water.
Your sim will enter the water and start cleaning themselves and their hygiene need will increase.
- Talk About Nature
This is a super easy thing to do, you just need to chat with three different sims using the chat about nature social interaction.
Reward for Completing the Fable
“The bunny was faster, a social post master, a chickie was taking her time. But like a true flake, bunny needed a break, leaving chicken alone in her prime. Not long and with luck, the chicken had snuck, past the bunny’s number of submissions. And wiht her small speed, the posts to her feed, had won her the contest’s conditions. The bunny was stunned that the chicken out-punned an expert like her in this race. But the chicken was proud, and stated aloud, ‘Well, isn’t the egg on your face!'”
When your sim finishes off this fable you’ll be given a supernatural shield which is one of the Elixirs you can create with the apothecary skill.
This shield actually grants you protection against anything negative from occult sims. This works for all the occults including fairies, werewolves, vampires and spellcasters!
