Who wouldn’t want to be iconic? Well, with the sims 4 admired icon aspiration your teens can be!
This aspiration comes to the game with The Sims 4: High School Years and is a fun one to play through.
Your sim will need to make friends, host parties and grow their following on Social Bunny.
Relatable Bonus Trait
When you start your sim with a teen aspiration they are going to be given the relatable bonus trait. This trait’s description reads “Relatable sims build friendly relationships with fellow teens faster.”
This is an awesome trait to have for this aspiration since your sim needs to gain friends with other teens!
Best Traits for The Sims 4 Admired Icon Aspiration
With every aspiration there are specific traits you can give your sim that can be helpful, which is awesome. Here’s some good options you can chose from:
- Outgoing: Teens in this aspiration are going to want to be outgoing because they need to make friends and host parties!
- Dance Machine: This trait comes with The Sims 4: Get Together and has your sim loving to dance. Since they need to throw parties you’ll want to like dancing!
- Party Animal: Sims with this trait enjoy throwing parties more and can even hype up the crowd!
You can also add lot traits that can be helpful to your sim’s in working through aspirations:
- Party Place: This trait comes from The Sims 4: City Living and can make parties go better. In this aspiration your sim needs to get gold on a hosted party so this can help!
- Teen Neighbourhood: This lot trait is awesome for meeting new teens if you don’t want to go to school with your sim. It makes more teens hangout in the area so they can make friends their age since they need 10 teen friends.
Stages of the Aspiration
There are three stages of this aspiration to play through, in each you’ll have tasks from making teen friends to throwing parties to complete. As you complete them you’ll be awarded with satisfaction points to spend in the reward store.
Stage One: Everyone’s Bestie
- Join a T-Pose Challenge
From time to time when you go to school with your sim you’ll see sims standing with their arms out in the shape of a T. This is the T-Pose Challenge!
You can click on these sims and choose join t-pose challenge and your sim will stand near them and do the same, and that will satisfy this requirement.
- Make 10 Teen Friends
Making teen friends is so easy because you can go to school with your sim and meet tons of teens that way. To be “friends” you just need to get to 35% friendship with another sim, so you can just do some simple friendly interactions until you reach it.
You can also add the teen neighborhood lot trait to your sim’s house so random teens walk by that you can make friends with!
- Post on Social Bunny 5 Times
At any time your sim can use their phone to open up the social bunny app, but in order to post you need to have an interesting experience. This can include things like travelling to another lot, making new friends and more.
Once you do something interesting enough to post, the button will be clickable and you can click it and choose the recent event to post about. Then, you’ll click on one of the narrative options that show how your sim feels about it.
You’ll then click the checkmark to post and there you go! You just need to do this five times for this part of the aspiration.
Stage Two: Clout Chaser
- List 5 Outfits on Trendi
Before you can list outfits you first need to get one! You have two options to do this, the first option is to browse trendi on your sim’s phone and purchase any of the outfits from there and you can sell them after.
Your second option which is more fun, is to head to the ThrifTea lot which is a Bubble Tea shop and Thrift Store in the high school years world. Once there you can click on a clothing rack and choose create a fashion look.
This will bring up a modified version of create a sim where you can create a look that will appear in your sim’s inventory when you’re done.
Once the outfit is in your sim’s inventory you can click on it and choose sell outfit on Trendi and you’ll be able to set your price.
You’ll get a notification if a sim wants to buy it and you’ll ship it by clicking on it and choosing to ship!
- Earn Gold on Any Hosted Party
A huge part about being an ICON is hosting great parties that people love, so you’ll need to earn gold on any hosted party. You’ll want to use the phone to start an event and host anything from a birthday party to a dinner party to a house party. Just make sure that the sim in this aspiration is the host!
Once the event starts a menu will appear in the top left corner where you’ll see a list of tasks you can complete. You’ll need to complete as many tasks as possible as quick as possible to finish this part and get gold.
A good hack for this is to invite everyone in your sim’s household and get them to do things too. You’ll find it easier to get them to dance or to influence their mood so that your host sim can socialize with guests!
Skip hiring a mixologist and get a sim in your household to make drinks instead, it’s faster and more consistent because mixologists are glitchy and sometimes walk away.
Getting gold is easy, you just need to manage your sim’s time well and keep it on 1x speed!
Stage Three: Admired Icon
- Have 250 Followers on Social Bunny
Gaining followers on social bunny is easy, but it can take a little while to reach 250. You can see your follow count at any point by clicking on the open and under the social bunny menu you choose open social bunny and you can see your follower count under your sim’s name.
To gain followers you’ll want to do interesting things in your life and then use the new post option to post interesting things about it. You’ll slowly gain followers at first, but the more followers you have the easier it is to start gaining more.
Post throughout the day, don’t do it all at once because followers would be annoyed by that! Just be consistent and you’ll reach 250 in no time.
Iconic Reward Trait
When you manage to finish off the sims 4 admired icon aspiration your sim will be given the iconic reward trait. This trait’s description reads “Iconic sims are the ones everyone wants to follow. They’ve earned the admiration of their peers and can now set their sights anywhere on the world wide web.”
