How to Join the Wildfangs in The Sims 4
If you want a fun group of werewolf friends you can join the Wildfangs in The Sims 4!
This is one of the two werewolf packs from The Sims 4: Werewolves!
Where to Find the Wildfangs
If you want your sim to find the Wildfangs group you’ll need to know where their hangout is. This group has an HQ located in a trailer in the bottom half of the map and its visitable by heading to any of the lots in this world.
How to Become a “Friend of” The Wildfangs
The first step toward joining the group is becoming a friend of the group first. To do this you’ll need to find the pack leader which you can easily do by clicking on the hangout and choosing focus camera on pack leader.
You’ll need to befriend the leader of the Wildfangs which happens around 35% friendship, but a little more is always good. Then, you’ll go to the werewolf pack menu when you click on the leader and choose ask to be friend of The Wildfangs.
When accepted you’ll get a notification letting you know and telling you that you can hangout with them and contribute to their resources.
Doing Trials to Impress the Wildfangs Alpha
Before you can actually join the group you’ll need to do three of six available trials to impress the alpha.
Note: You can only be a friend of as a regular sim, you must be a werewolf to actually join the group!
Trial: Werewolf Spar with Rory
Your first option is to werewolf spar with the pack leader, to be able to werewolf spar you need to unlock the Transformation Mastery dormant ability. This ability is gained when you manage to get through an entire fury induced rampage as a werewolf without scaring a single sim.
The easiest way I found to do this was to lock my sim inside of their home, then get them to enter a rampage without being able to leave so they can’t scare anyone. Once this ability is unlocked you’ll be able to do the werewolf spar trial.
Trial: Discuss Lunar Epiphany
The next option you have is to discuss your lunar epiphany. This is another dormant ability that your sim can unlock by reading and re-reading werewolf books that you can either purchase on a bookcase or you can find them when scavenging.
Once you unlock the lunar epiphany dormant ability your sim can do this trial.
Trial: Demonstrate Scavenging
Your next option is to demonstrate scavenging which is a werewolf perk you can purchase. This perk is available at the first rank of being a werewolf, so is pretty easy to get. Once you purchase it you’ll be free to do this trial.
Trial: Demonstrate Pack Howl
To do the demonstrate pack howl trial your sim will need to reach the third werewolf rank and purchase the pack howl werewolf ability. The fun thing about doing this is that it will fill your ism’s social need!
Trial: Give an Uncommon or Rare Collectible
Your next option is to give the pack leader a rare or uncommon collectible. An easy way to get good collectibles as a werewolf is to scavenge and if you also purchase the enhance smell perk you can enhance your sim’s smell and know exactly where to dig to find good stuff faster.
Trial: Give Excellent Quality Food
The final option is to give the pack leader an excellent quality food item that your sim has cooked. For some reason these werewolves love to eat good food, so you’ll want to get your sim a high level of the cooking skill. To get higher quality food you can make sure your sim is inspired too since it’s the best mood for cooking.
How to Actually Join The Wildfangs in The Sims 4
Once you complete three trials the Ask to Join The Wildfangs option will stop being greyed out and you can click it.
When accepted you’ll get a notification saying you unlocked some fun stuff including a bag of jerky bites delivered each week, an issue of BARK Magazine and some new interactions with the group.
With the knowledge of how to join the wildfangs in The Sims 4 you can now go ahead and finish off the wildfang renegade aspiration and become the alpha of the group!
