How to Join the Moonwood Collective in The Sims 4
If you want to have fun with werewolves you can join the Moonwood Collective in The Sims 4.
This group is all about being a good werewolf ambassador and example to others for werewolves.
All of this, comes with The Sims 4: Werewolves and is a fun thing to play around with.
Where to Find the Moonwood Collective
To be able to join the Moonwood collective in The Sims 4 your sim needs to know where to find them. This group has their HQ located in a large tree at the top of the map in the small forest near the two residential lots.
When you find the tree you can click on it and hangout, use their facilities or focus camera on pack leader. This will help you find the sim you need to befriend to start joining the group.
How to Become a “Friend Of” The Collective
The first step to being able to join the group is becoming a friend of which is available to both sims and werewolves. To do this you’ll need to chat with the pack leader until you become friends (35% friendship or more) and then click on them and choose werewolf pack > ask to be friend of the Moonwood collective.
Your sim will get a notification telling you that you can hangout with them, use their facilities and contribute to the pack.
Doing Trials to Impress the Alpha
After you become a friend of the Moonwood collective you’ll have to impress the Alpha before you can join officially. When you click on the leader you’ll go to join pack and you’ll see six different trials to pick from.
Your sim will need to complete three of the six trials before you are able to ask to join the Moonwood Collective in The Sims 4!
Note: Becoming a full-member is only available to werewolves!
Trial: Werewolf Spar with Kristofer
Your first trial option is to werewolf spar with the pack leader. To be able to do a werewolf spar your sim must first unlock the Transformation Mastery dormant ability.
This ability is done by getting through an entire Fury rampage without scaring any sims. The easiest way to do this is to lock your sim into a single room, induce the rampage and then leave them there until you get them out of it.
When you succeed you’ll get a Transformation Mastery Unlocked notification and when you get that you’ll be able to do this trial.
Trial: Give Excellent Quality Food
Another option is to give excellent quality food to the pack leader. You’ll need to get your sim to cook a meal with excellent or higher quality. Some factors to quality include your sim’s level of the cooking skill as well as their mood when they are cooking, the inspired mood is best!
Trial: Discuss Lunar Epiphany
This trial requires your sim to have the lunar epiphany dormant ability unlocked for your werewolf. You’ll get this by reading werewolf books multiple times.
You can purchase werewolf books on a bookcase and just read and reread books until you get the lunar epiphany unlocked notification. Once you see that notification you’ll be able to discuss your lunar epiphany with the pack leader.
Trial: Demonstrate Scavenging
To demonstrate scavenging you’ll need to purchase the rank 1 werewolf ability, scavenger.
This ability lets you click on the ground to get your sim to scavenge for different items like books to learn the wolf-b-gone recipe or fun artifacts.
Trial: Demonstrate Pack Howl
To demonstrate a pack howl you’ll need to purchase the Pack Howl werewolf ability first.
This is one of the rank 3 perks available for purchase, and once purchased you can do that trial.
Trial: Give an Uncommon or Rare Collectable
For this trial your sim can give any kind of collectible, meaning a rare or uncommon crystal, mySim Trophy, etc. You can easily use your scavenge ability to find rare or uncommon collectibles on the ground to give as well!
How to Officially Join the Moonwood Collective in The Sims 4
Once you finish your three trials you’ll finally be impressive enough to join the group. You’ll want to go to the pack leader and under the werewolf pack menu you’ll choose ask to Join The Moonwood Collective.
When you do this you’ll get a pop-up conversation with the pack leader asking if you truly want to join. You’ll either choose sounds great! I’m in or you can click never mind to avoid joining.
You’ll also get a notification telling you that you’ve unlocked a few perks. You’ll get a copy of The Good Boy, a weekly delivery of Wolfitos and a bunch of fun new interactions with members of the pack.
You now have the freedom to be a true member of The Moonwood Collective and can work through the emissary of the collective aspiration.
