How to Go to Planet Sixam in The Sims 4
If you want to see everything in the game you need to Go to Planet Sixam in The Sims 4!
Planet Sixam is a one of the secrets worlds in the game and comes with The Sims 4: Get to Work.
This secret location has aliens, fun plants and interesting collectibles for your sim.
How to Go to Planet Sixam in The Sims 4
The only way to travel to Planet Sixam is to build a rocket ship and install the wormhole generator. For this you’ll need to purchase the Steampunk Flyamajig from the build catalog for 5000 simoleons.
You’ll be purchasing the platform for the rocket ship to go on, you’ll still need to pay another 1,000 simoleons to build it. When building you can have up to three sims work on it so you can have it be completed quicker which is so helpful.
Everything so far has been base game and with a completed rocket your sim can go to space, you just can’t go with them. You’ll need to upgrade your sim’s rocket by adding the Wormhole Generator for 1,000 simoleons.
Your sim will need to have level 10 of the rocket science skill before the option to Install Wormhole Generator appears. Once you’ve completed the upgrade you’ll click on your rocket ship and choose travel through wormhole and your sim will enter the ship and travel to Sixam!
You’ll get a pop-up notification that is called Through The Wormhole. It says “The ship hurtles through the wormhole and emerges near an alien planet. A series of odd noises comes from the on-ship radio, and your sim is suddenly teleported off their ship.” You’ll click beam down to go to Sixam!
Things To Do in Planet Sixam
There are so many things you can do in this secret world, I wish we could live there! You’ll be able to make friends with aliens, find interesting plants and even gather items for collections.
Make Friends with Aliens
When you’re inside of Planet Sixam you’ll see a bunch of aliens walking around and you can introduce yourself to them and start chatting. Being friends with aliens is great because… well, who wouldn’t want to be friends with aliens?
Harvest Unique Plants
Around Sixam you’ll find some interesting plants that your sim can harvest and then start growing on their own lot if they want. These are fun because you can work on the gardening collection and grow unique items.
In Sixam you’ll find orb stalks, tentacle trees and quill plants around the world to harvest. From a tentacle tree your sim will get the fang flower, from an orb stalk your sim will get a glow orb and from a Quill Plant you’ll get quill fruit.
These can be super valuable items to have in your garden. You can get them evolved and sell each individual piece for a lot of money:
- Perfect Fang Flower §50
- Perfect Glow Orb §63
- Perfect Quill Fruit §133
Find Aliens for Collection
Aliens are a base game collection that you are able to to collect by exploring space on a rocket ship. You can also find these in Sixam by looking for small volcano shaped rock formations with green light coming from them.
You’ll click on the little volcano thing and choose collect and the alien will appear in your sim’s inventory.
Collect Crystals
The next thing you can do in Sixam is collect crystals. you’ll see special crystal rocks that only appear in Sixam and shine the same colour as the crystals you’ll find. You just click on these and choose collect.
Collect Geodes to Polish
In Sixam you’ll see these rock formations around that are kind-of shaped like apawn on a chess board. When you click these you’re able to collect the geode from the top of the object.
You’ll get an unpolished geode in your sim’s inventory and you can click on them and choose polish and it will polish the geode to work toward the collection.
