To be a true city native you need to Give an Apartment Key to a Friend in The Sims 4 which lets sims come visit whenever they want.

Having a friend with a key to your apartment can be annoying, but it’s super fun!

This ability comes with The Sims 4: City Living and requires your sim to live in an apartment building in San Myshuno.

How to Give an Apartment Key to a Friend in The Sims 4

Being able to give a key to a friend first requires you to be friends! You’ll need to grow your relationship with the target sim to at least 35% friendship before you’ll ever see this as an option.

Once you get to 35% friendship you’ll see give apartment key appear in the initial menu but you can also find it in the relationship menu in more choices.

Now that they have a key to your apartment this sim can come over at any time whenever they want. So…. beware!

Being able to give an apartment key to a friend is a requirement of the city native aspiration and is seriously so easy. Thankfully, it’s easy to revoke the key if they get annoying!
