To be able to add these gorgeous little rabbits to your lot, you need to unlock the ability to purchase a Wild Rabbit home from build mode. You aren’t going to get this ability until a sim in your household is able to befriend a wild rabbit!

You’ll find wild rabbits all around the world, but there are three rabbit homes located in the world. If you don’t know where to find them there’s a section at the bottom of this post with all the information about their locations.

Once you find a wild rabbit you’ll want to click on them and do interactions from the socialize section. Obviously you want to avoid things like make fun of bunny ears or the option to scare wild rabbit. These are going to decrease your relationship.

Focus your attention on the positive interactions like telling jokes, asking them questions and smothering them with love. At any time you can see the wild rabbit in your sim’s relationship panel to see how far along you are on your friendship.

When you reach around 40% friendship with a wild rabbit you’ll get a notification saying “Your sim has befriended a rabbit and can now purchase a Wild Rabbit Home.” This is what we’ve been waiting for! You can now head into build mode and place the wild rabbit home on your sim’s lot and befriend any rabbits you see.

Where to Find Wild Rabbits

The wild rabbits in the game can often just be hopping around the world and you can try and befriend them at any time. However, they do live in small cut down tree trunks that you can find and you’ll always find a wild rabbit in these areas.

There are a couple locations you can find a rabbit house with the first one being next to the swirl area behind the Isle of Volpe Park.

The next place you can find one is in the Old New Henford neighbourhood near the Watson Family lot.

The final location I’ve discovered is right in front of the home of the Creature Keeper which is located at the end of a bridge near the Isle of Volpe Park.

Now that you know where to find rabbits and how to get wild rabbits on your lot you can befriend them and start getting gifts! It’s so much fun, plus you’ll need to do this for the country caretaker aspiration!
