How to Get a Chicken in The Sims 4

If you want fresh eggs for your sims to eat you’ll need to get a chicken in The Sims 4.

If you want to have chickens in your game you’ll need to have The Sims 4: Cottage Living installed.

These adorable animals are precious and so much fun to care for.

How to Get a Chicken in The Sims 4

The first step toward getting a chicken is to purchase a chicken coop! You can find these in the outdoor activities section of build mode or just search chicken coop. This item will cost you §400 to place on your lot.

Once you have the chicken coop you can click on it and choose purchase chickens. When you do this a menu will appear that will allow you to choose from different chickens to purchase.

You’ll be able to purchase either black, brown or white chickens as well as chicks. You can also purchase either roosters or hens. If you want to hatch eggs for more chickens you’ll need at least one rooster and one hen!

Once you purchase the chickens you’ll see them take one of the ramps on the side of the chicken coop to walk out and then you can start being their friend and feeding them.

Now that you know how to get a chicken in The Sims 4 you can go off and become a country caretaker and have a whole bunch of chickens!
