How to Excavate Dig Piles in The Sims 4

If your sim wants to be an archaeology scholar they’ll need to excavate dig piles in The Sims 4!

These are small piles of dirt, rocks and artifacts that you’ll find in the jungle in Selvadorada.

When you excavate them your sim can get cool unauthenticated artifacts or clumps of dirt to discover!

How to Excavate Dig Piles in The Sims 4

When you’re spending time in Selvadorada you’ll sometimes find these dirt piles in the jungle, but what are you supposed to do with them? Well, these little piles of dirt are dig piles that you can excavate for artifacts.

To excavate these items you’ll want to click on them and choose excavate and your sim will go down on their knees with a small hammer and start getting to work.

When they’re done the dig pile will disappear and your sim will get something in their inventory from a pile of ancient dust to a clump of dirt.

The best part? At level four of the archaeology skill your sim unlocks the ability to survey for dig pile. This is the best!

Instead of having to find dig piles you can click on the ground anywhere in Selvadorada and click to survey for dig pile and there’s a chance a dig pile will appear and you can get artifacts faster.

There is so much fun stuff to be discovered in The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure! Your sim can find so many fun artifacts and sell them for money after authenticating, just some really fun and cool gameplay.
