How to Eavesdrop on Sims in The Sims 4

Eavesdropping is my favourite way to find secrets because it’s hilarious how close the sim stands to the people. Like they’re hardly hiding, it’s so cute.

There are two ways you can eavesdrop on sims with the first way being by listening in on conversations. To do this you’ll want to find two sims who are chatting and click on one of them.

Then go to friendly > gossip > eavesdrop to start the process.

When you do this your sim will stand… too close… and hold their hand up to their ear in a very silly way.

Your second option to eavesdrop on a sim is to go to someone’s house when they’re home, but instead of knocking on their door you can eavesdrop. Just click on the door, choose eavesdrop and your sim will put their ear up to the door and listen.

Whenever you eavesdrop you’ll get one of two notifications. Either you’ll get a secret that you can view fully by opening a sim’s profile or you’ll get a no secrets here notification.

Now that you’re fully aware of your options to eavesdrop you can finish the seeker of secrets aspiration or just eavesdrop to learn secrets and blackmail them for money!
