How to Detect Emotions With The Emotion Stone in The Sims 4

To be able to detect emotions you first need to get your sim’s to craft an emotion stone. This is an easy process but if you aren’t sure how you can do it on the apothecary table.

Once you take the emotion stone out of the table and place it in your sim’s inventory you’ll want to click on it and choose apothecary > detect emotions.

When you do this your sim will hold the stone in the air and a green wave of colour will go around them.

Any sim in the vicinity will then have their emotion appear right next to their head, with each emotion face showing the same colour as the emotion.
