How to Cure Ailments in The Sims 4
Ailments can be a pain but you can easily cure ailments in The Sims 4 with one of three options!
Once you know how to cure ailments you can easily get rid of them and get back to life.
How to Cure Ailments in The Sims 4
There are three main ways you can cure ailments in the game, each with different requirements. You can do it as a fairy, do it with the apothecary skill or visit a naturopath doctor to get rid of it.
Curing Ailments as a Fairy
If you have a fairy in your sim’s household you can use fairy perk points to purchase fairy abilities. One of these abilities is cure or apply ailment.
When a fairy has this they can click on any sim and go to the fairy menu and choose cure ailment and it will immediately remove the ailment from the target sim!
Curing Ailments with Apothecary Elixirs
Another way you can cure ailments is to use the apothecary skill. When sims have this skill they can click on an apothecary table and click craft and choose to make any of the elixirs that will cure the ailments.
When you get a high level of the skill your sim can even craft the holistic cure which can cure any of the ailments which is awesome!
If your sim doesn’t have any apothecary skill or ingredients they can also purchase cures from Apothecary Todd’s shop in the Sprucederry Grove neighbourhood! He has a rolling stock through, so you can’t always choose specific elixirs.
Curing Ailments with a Visit to the Naturopath
If your sim gets an ailment and you don’t have access to a fairy or a sim who is talented in Apothecary, you can always visit a naturopath. This will cost your sim 1500 simoleons and you can find it by controlling the sim with the ailment and clicking on them.
The sim will go into a rabbit hole and will return some time later. You’ll get a notification showing you that their ailment has been removed and they’ll have a holistic cure added to their inventory.
This is nice because the next time your sim is sick they can just consume this holistic cure and get healthy again.
There you have it folks, now you know how to cure ailments in The Sims 4. My favourite way to eliminate ailments will be to use the UI Cheats Extension and just click on them to remove them. I’m lazy and that’s the best for me!
