If you want to be a master chef you’ll need to cook a gourmet meal in The Sims 4!
This is a requirement for the master chef aspiration and lets your sims create way fancier food than regular cooking.
How to Cook a Gourmet Meal in The Sims 4
Cooking gourmet meals requires your sims to unlock the gourmet cooking skill which happens when a sim reaches level 5 of the regular cooking skill.
To gain the cooking skill you can cook meals in your sim’s kitchen, on a grill, or using any of the small appliances that you get with Home Chef Hustle.
You can also have your sims read the cooking skill books to gain the skill and they are available for purchase on any bookcase.
If you want to do this without effort you can just cheat the regular cooking skill to level 5 by using stats.set_skill_level major_homestylecooking 5 and it’ll unlock gourmet cooking!
Once your sim reaches level 5 of the cooking skill you’ll be able to click on a fridge or stove and choose cook a gourmet meal. While cooking this meal your sim will start gaining the gourmet cooking skill instead of the regular cooking skill!
Now that you know how you can cook more gourmet food you can finish the master chef aspiration and get those good moodlets from delicious food!
