How to Break into a Home in The Sims 4
Let’s get snooping by breaking into homes! To do this you can click on any front door in the game and if the sims aren’t home the break in option will appear. If sims are home, you can’t do this and knock on door will show up instead.
When you click break in your sim will find a wrench and start going crazy on the door to get themselves in. Not very stealthy, but it’s fun. There’s a chance that this interaction will fail and you’ll get a notification saying “The door appeared sturdier than normal. Maybe a little more elbow grease will open it up but right now it won’t budge.”
If you get that notification just click on the door and choose break in again until it works. When it works you’ll get a notification saying “Success! Your sim has access to the house and all of its juicy secrets. Hurry and find some dirt before any pesky residents return!”
Now that you have access to the house you are free to go around and snoop for secrets. You can do this on a bunch of furniture items including desks, beds and dressers.
