It’s way more fun to blackmail sims than to keep their secrets, but it can have a negative effect on relationships!

How to Blackmail a Sim in The Sims 4
When you learn a sim’s secret you have two options, keep it to yourself or confront them. You’ll find the option to confront them in the social menu right after you find out a secret about a specific sim.
When you confront a sim you’ll get a notification telling you that you can either keep a sim’s secret or choose to blackmail them instead. You’ll find the option to blackmail under mean > malicious > blackmail.
When you do this a simoleon symbol will appear above the two sims and you’ll see the target sim looking stressed. They’ll eventually hand your sim an envelope and your sim will get some money, ยง100 in this case!
When I finished the blackmail my sim got a +1 Energized moodlet that lasted 4 hours called Lucrative Arrangement. It says “It might be wrong… but the simoleons feel so right.” and honestly, that’s true.
