How to Become a Vampire in The Sims 4

Being a vampire is a fun way to play and is a necessity for the vampire family aspiration. There are to ways for your sim to be a vampire in the game, the first being to create a vampire in create-a-sim.

This is obviously the easiest way and you just click on the occult button when making a new sim and choose vampire, this lets you pick their dark form and edit everything about them.

The more fun way to become a vampire is to ask another vampire to turn you!

You can do this with any of the pack vampires including Vlad, Caleb and Lilith. To start you need to make your sim have a decently friendly relationship with them.

The ask to turn option appeared for me around 30% friendship with Caleb, but there is still a chance that your sim will be denied. If that happens, just keep working on your friendly relationship by doing all the friendly interactions with that sim.

When the vampire sim accepts your request to turn they will do some freaky stuff with their hands to mesmerize your sim and then take a bite from your neck.

Once this happens your sim will get a +1 uncomfortable moodlet called strangely hungry. This moodlet makes it so your sim isn’t going to enjoy eating any human food, but you’ll still need to feed them. They may even throw up! The problem? Well, your sim will be losing their hunger need faster than before so you need to feed them a lot.

At some point after being turned your sim will get a message from the most important vampire, Vlad! He’s going to tell you that he’s sensed that you’ve been turned and that it’ll take a few days for you to become a vampire.

After about a day the strangely hungry mood let it’ll switch up to disgusted by food which is a +2 uncomfortable moodlet. This is when things get silly, any time that your sim eats with this moodlet they’ll make the funniest grossed out face after swallowing.

After some more time that’ll change to appetite lost which is a +3 uncomfortable moodlet. Now anytime your sim eats they’re going to get a +5 uncomfortable moodlet that makes them throw up sometimes.

Once that moodlet starts to fade your sim will be ready to turn into a vampire. My sim was in bed and they rose from bed and started having pink clouds around them and they held their stomach intensely.

Then, they got out of bed and turned into their dark form and started doing scary vampire movements.

Now your sim is officially a vampire and will need to start drinking from sims or eating plasma packs. Be sure to spend time indoors when its sunny, it’s best to stay outside at night instead.

Your sim is officially a vampire! Go out there and cause chaos, maybe start a vampire family and be a creep at night!
