How to Become a Fairy in The Sims 4
Playing with the occult is a fun aspect of the game so I love being able to become a fairy in The Sims 4.
This ability comes to your game with The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature which is required to do this.
How to Become a Fairy in The Sims 4
There are a few steps you need to take to become a fairy starting with getting a fairy seedling and ending with your sim going for a swim!
How to Get a Fairy Seedling
The first step toward being able to become a fairy is to obtain a fairy seedling. This is what you’ll plant to summon mother nature who will help you become a fairy. According to the research how to become fairy notification, you have multiple ways to get your hands on this item.
- Foraging
- Completing Fables
- Ordering it Off The Computer
- Asking a Fairy for One
I had my sim forage for hours and was never given a fairy seedling, so I don’t yet believe that one. Completing fables is a way to get one, but it’s more time consuming.
At first you won’t see the option to order one on the computer. You first need to go to web > research how to become a fairy and after doing that you’ll get a notification giving you all the information you need.
Once you’ve seen this notification, you’ll be able to click on the computer and choose order > purchase fairy seedling. This will cost your sim 758 simoleons!
If you don’t have over 700 simoleons to spend to become a fairy, you may want to just ask another sim for it. You can head to the Everdew neighbourhood and find a fairy to chat with. You’ll find the option under fairy > social > ask for fairy seedling.
Not all fairies have seedlings on them to give, you may get a notification from a sim saying they don’t have one and you’ll need to find a different fairy. I find this happens more when you have a low relationship with that fairy, so build a friendship first and it should work.
When it works the fairy will hand your sim a paper bag, and that’s where the fairy seedling is. It will end up in your sim’s inventory!
Summoning Mother Nature
Once you have your fairy seedling, you need to plant it! You can do this in a few ways. Your first option is to purchase a garden planter or garden plot, and you can click on that and choose plant fairy seedling.
Your other option is to just click on the ground and and choose plant fairy seedling.
This isn’t a plant that sticks around, it just summons mother nature when planted, so it doesn’t actually matter where you plant it. Once planted you’ll get an action card to answer, asking if you’re sure you want to summon Mother Nature.
If you click OK on this action card you’ll see Mother Nature appear in a beautiful dress and you can chat with them. They may give your sim their charm immediately, but if they don’t you can click on them and choose ask for mother nature’s charm.
After your sim drinks mother nature’s charm they will get a notification saying “You have been bestowed my special charm! Now you must seek my enchanted waters found in Everdew to complete your transformation. Once located, you can step into Moondrop Springs and receive your wings of flight. But hurry! The charm is not long lasting.”
Once you see that notification you better start travelling before it wears off!
Note: At any time you are able to plant another fairy seedling to summon Mother Nature again! She can just be someone you chat with, or you can have her help you stop being a fairy.
Entering the Enchanted Waters to Become a Fairy
After your visit from Mother Nature you’ll need to travel to the Everdew neighbourhood in Innisgreen. You’ll be heading to the magical body of water called Moondrop Springs that’s located between the Starsong Lounge and the Summerdream lot in the top left corner.
Once there, you’ll click on the sparkling body of water and choose become a fairy. Your sim will head to the edge of the water and pick some up. When this happens they’ll have a pink sparkly gust pick them up and they will grow their wings.
At this time you’ll get a notification telling you that you’ve gone through your metamorphosis and you can click the button at the bottom to adjust your sim’s fairy look in create-a-sim.
You’ll also get a +3 Energized moodlet called Enchanted Beginnings that lasts around 6 hours. Once those things happen, your sim is a fairy and you can grow your rank and start doing fairy magic.
