How to Get Colourful Marbles in The Sims 4

As a kid I had an obsession with marbles so having my sims play with the sims 4 marbles collection is so fun.

This collection is available with The Sims 4: For Rent and lets your sims play for keeps to try and keep them from others.

How to Get Colourful Marbles in The Sims 4

There are actually four ways you can get marbles and all of them are fun! You can order some online, buy them at the night market, play for keeps against others or look for them inside of toy boxes.

Ordering Them Online

The first way you can get marbles is by going on a computer and under the order menu you’ll find purchase marbles. You’ll be able to choose from a group of marbles, but you can’t get all of them in one go.

Purchasing them at Tomarang’s Night Market

Every night from 6PM to 2AM in the Morensong neighbourhood of Tomarang you can go to a night market and you are able to purchase marbles there too.

You’ll look for a non-food stall that has a person at it, there are a lot of decorative ones where no one will sell so look for sims who are working.

You’ll click on the stall and choose purchase goods and a menu will appear. You’ll see a couple marbles you can buy, but it is most likely that you’ll see common marbles so it’s hard to get the more rare ones this way.

Playing for Keeps

Playing for keeps happens on the Golden Ticket Marbles Game Ring that you can purchase for 45 simoleons.

You’ll click on this item and choose play for keeps and a menu will open. This menu will require your sim to put up a marble for the game and if they lose they’ll lose the marble.

If they win, they’ll get to keep the other sim’s marble and that’ll go toward the collection!

Searching in Toy Boxes

If you have a sim who is a teen or older they are able to search for marbles inside of a toy box. I’m not entirely sure why kids can’t do this, but it’s still a cute way to work on the collection.

To do this you’ll click on a toy box and choose rummage for marbles. If your sim finds one you’ll get a notification telling you so and letting you know which marble is now in your sim’s inventory.

Storing Your Marbles in a Jar

One thing you can purchase from the computer is a Jar for Marbles. This cute clear jar lets you store your sim’s marble collection and is a cute piece of decor for a kid’s bedroom who loves playing with these little toys.

My favourite part about these is that the amount of marbles in the jar grows as you add more so it really feels like your sim is collecting them!

Types of Marbles

There are 15 marbles to collect in total and each of them has a rarity attached. They’ll either be rare, uncommon or common and as you increase in rarity the value will increase. You can even find Princess Cordelia’s Lost Marble which is worth §2,500!

Reward for Finishing the Collection

Immediately after collecting the final marble you’ll get a notification that says “The completed colourful marbles collection has been fully acquired! Bask in the victory and look at all of these colourful little, glass balls.”
