How to Get Voidcritters in The Sims 4
The best thing about the sims is all the weird collections like these sims 4 Voidcritters!
These come with The Sims 4: Kids Room Stuff and are a Pokemon style collectable card that your sims can battle.
Most of the fun stuff with these is only available to kids, but older sims are able to purchase the cards and do the collection!
How to Get Voidcritters in The Sims 4
There are three ways you can get void critters in the game. You’re able to purchase them, trade them and you even have a chance for kids to find them in the trash.
Purchasing Booster Packs on a Computer
The first way you can get your sim some voidcritters is by purchasing the booster packs on the computer. You’ll get your sim to go to the computer and go to the order menu and choose purchase Voidcritter Booster pack.

When you click this you’ll get to choose between a single pack or purchasing five of them at once.

After purchasing you’ll get a notification letting you know that the booster parks are in your sim’s inventory. You’ll then click on them and chose to open them one at a time.

You’ll get a notification telling you what voidcritter you got and you’ll see the card available in your sim’s inventory.
Trading with Other Kids
The next way you can get these cards is by having a child trade with other children. To do this you’ll find a child and go to the friendship > hobbies social menu and click on ask to trade Voidcritters.

When you click this you’ll get a menu opening where you can choose which card to trade. Ideally, you trade duplicates so you can get new cards and get rid of the ones you don’t need for this collection.

When you do this you’ll get a notification telling you which card you got in return and it will be in your sim’s inventory.
Searching Trash Cans for Discarded Toys
The final way you can get these cards is by clicking on trash cans at sim’s houses or in public lots and choosing look for discarded toys. This has a small change of giving you a Voidcritter and has a long cooldown so it’s the worst way to try and get these cards.

If you have The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits you’ll also see the option on trash cans to start the be useful challenge and that’s so fun to play through for formative moments with your sims.
