This moth is found at one of the two weekly festivals from The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits!

Where to Catch The Sphinx Moth in The Sims 4

Each of the fourteen butterflies & moths you can get have a riddle attached that gives you information on where to find them. For the Sphinx Moth is says “At the fire festival’s heart, a mysterious Sphinx plays its part. Near the flame, in wilderness’ domain, discover this moth where stories reign.”

This riddle lets you know that you must have your sim go to the ‘Round The Fire Festival in Gibbi Point’s Wanderwood Wilds Neigbourhood. This festival happens on both Saturday and Sunday each week from 7Pm to 2AM.

You can see this festival’s information at any time from the household calendar and you can use that to travel to the festival if you aren’t already in the neighbourhood. When you travel there, it might load you in a weird spot far away from the festival but just look for an area with sims and two large fire pits and lots of torches.

Near both of the two large fire pits you’l find a Sphinx Moth flying around, you’ll just click on it and choose to catch it and the moth will appear in your sim’s inventory.
