Where to Catch The Red Admiral Butterfly in The Sims 4

Butterflies are my favourite and the sims 4 red admiral butterfly is gorgeous and has one of the most beautiful ways to catch it… if you like fire.

This butterfly comes with The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits and requires your sim to first finish the Melody of The Geyser quest!

Where to Catch The Red Admiral Butterfly in The Sims 4

Every butterfly or moth you can catch for the collection has a riddle attached to it that helps you work through how to find it. The red admiral butterfly riddle says “Begin with Toshie in Jellyfish Junction’s heart. The Melody of the Geyser is where you start. Investigate and return, then Boulder Strike. Watch the Red Admiral take its flight.”

This riddle is telling you to go to the Jellyfish Junction neighbourhood in Gibbi Point and find Toshie Akamine. This sim will be hanging out during the day around a red phone booth that’s beside the map on the wall and surrounded by flower pots.

Once you find Toshie you’ll talk to them and choose inquire about adventure quest. A menu will appear and you’ll have a few options but you want to choose the Melody of The Geyser Quest.

You’ll need to work your way through the entirety of this quest and you’ll be lead to a boulder. Your sim will investigate the boulder and then SMACK! the boulder.

Once the boulder is smacked the Geyser will have a bunch of fire come out of it and at the moment that happens, three sets of Red Admiral Butterflies will appear around the Geyser.

Your sim will also get a scared moodlet during this time, which is fair. I’d be terrified if I hit a giant rock and a bunch of fire started flying into the air.

When you see the sims 4 red admiral butterfly around the geyser, click on it and choose to catch it and you’ll get it in your inventory!
