Where to Find Frogs in The Sims 4

Frogs are a really fun collection in The Sims 4 and there are three ways you can find them!

You can collect a couple of these slippery guys and start breeding them to get more.

Types of Frog Locations

There are three types of places where you can find frogs in The Sims 4. The first is frog logs which are small wooden logs, the second is a frog tap which is a broken looking well tap that will stay in one location and finally, you can find them in ponds.

Frog Logs

The frog logs are the only not permanent spot. These move around depending on the day and can appear in any item spot that is in the game. These won’t appear every single day in the same spots like you wish they would, but some days it might be a frog log and you might see a dig spot there the next day.

Frog Taps

Frog taps are a permanent spot that will never move. However, they have a cooldown before you are able to search for frogs in them again.

Frog Tap Locations

Since everyone has access to the base game, that’s the best place to find a frog tap. There are so many in Oasis Springs!

In Oasis Springs you can find quite a few frog taps. Here’s some places you can find one:

• Desert Bloom Park at the back to the right
• Behind Johnny Zest’s Trailer
• In the Bedrock Straight neighbourhood at the edge of the neighbourhood on Zest’s side near some grills and tables
• Behind the Solar Flare Lounge lot in the Mirage Canyon Neighbourhood
• The edge of the Mirage Canyon neighbourhood on the Rattlesnake Juice lot side
• In an open area beside the pool of the Roomie’s household
• There is one located behind both homes in the Acquisition Butte neighbourhood

Ponds

The final place you can find frogs is in a pond which are in some neighbourhoods. These are large bodies of water where you can both go fishing and also search for frogs.

These are the best location for looking for frogs because you can search over and over without a cooldown, however, it can fail often because the frogs are slippery.

Frog Pond Locations

Let’s go into where you can find these ponds in each world. If a world is missing there are no available ponds in that world.

There are only a few ponds to explore and most of the time they are located in parks. You’ll find a pond in the following lots:

• Desert Bloom Park in Oasis Springs
• Magnolia Blossom Park in Willow Creek
• Eternal Hollow Cemetery in Ravenwood (Life & Death)
