The Sims 4 Be An Enthusiast Formative Moment
- “So… what kind of music do I even like? I need to figure that out first.”
To figure out what kind of music your sim likes you’ll want to get them to listen to different genres of music until they develop a preference. This took forever and you can bypass it by going into create-a-sim with full edit mode on and just picking some music preferences for them instead.
- “To be good at gaming, I need to prove it and win at least 3 games on a gaming console.”
For this part of the formative moment your child needs to win three different games against other sims on a gaming console. You’ll want to purchase both a television and a gaming console for it and then click on it and choose to play multiplayer.
To make your sim win you’ll want them to have a higher level of the video gaming skill than the other sim. You’ll need to win three games, so you’ll be playing for a while!
- “I’m interesting in imaginative fiction, but what to read?”
This part of the formative moment requires your sim to read three books in either Science Fiction or Fantasy genres. To do this you can click on a bookcase and choose read and hover over books to see the genre.
These don’t need to be children’s books thankfully, there are many non-children’s books that kids can read too!
Little Enthusiast Formative Moment Trait
When you finish this formative moment your sim will get the little enthusiast formative moment trait. This trait’s description says “As a child, this sim decided to embrace being an enthusiast and invested in their interests! As an adult, they’ll be bored for a shorter period of time when bored. There’s so much to think about.”
This trait can be so helpful by making all bored moodlets expire quicker so your sim as an adult will rarely be bored!
Note: Older sims can purchase any of the formative moment traits from the reward store for 100 satisfaction points!
