The Sims 4 Tangible Traces Quest
If you want to know more about the Peculiar Plumbird you’ll need to finish the Sims 4 Tangible Traces Quest.
This quest from The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits is one part of being able to see the cryptid moth for the butterfly collection!
The Sims 4 Tangible Traces Quest Breakdown

- Socialize with the Lost Adventurer
The lost adventurer is a sim who lives in Wanderwood Wilds. This sim will usually be somewhere near the Old Firewatch Tower or he’ll be fishing. In my game his name was Raheel Kunal and he was wearing red pants with a jacket and a headband.

All you need to do is socialize with this sim, so introduce yourself and then chat a bit to complete this task.
- Located Plumbird Evidence in Wanderwood Wilds
In each of the first three quests you need to go to a different neighbourhood and find a fossil on the ground. This time it’s Wanderwood Wilds where you’ll find the fossil on the ground near the large Geyser.

You’ll click on this fossil and choose investigate Plumbird evidence and when you do you’ll get a notification and an action card giving you more information about the Plumbird.

- Discuss Plumbird Evidence with Gibbi Point Locals
Finally, you need to discuss Plumbird evidence with Gibbi point locals. These need to be sims who live in the world or are NPCs from this pack. So, you can’t ask sims like Bella Goth if they are walking around.

You’ll click these sims and choose discuss Plumbird evidence and they’ll give you some information about them.
When you complete the first three quests (including this one, feeding frenzy and local legends) your sim will unlock the final one community spirit. Finishing that quest will let your sim be able to see the Cryptid Moth!
