The Sims 4 Slumber Party Animal Aspiration
As a slumber party lover I absolutely love playing through the sims 4 slumber party animal aspiration.
To be a true slumber party animal you’ll need to be social and know how to chit chat in a sleeping bag!
This aspiration is one of four that we got for children with The Sims 4: Growing Together and is such a welcome addition to the game, since the other aspirations for kids have been so boring.
Best Traits for This Aspiration
There is only one trait slot for children so there aren’t a ton of options here, a sim like this may want to have the outgoing trait because they’ll enjoy all the socialization more than other sims.
You can also add the Child’s Play lot trait from The Sims 4: City Living to your household to help! This lot trait is going to make it so your children learn skills faster which is awesome.
Stages of The Sims 4 Slumber Party Animal Aspiration
There are three stages of this aspiration to play through and each has specific tasks to complete. In this aspiration your sim will gain the creativity and social skills and throw the absolute best slumber parties with the goal of becoming a practiced host.
Stage One: Pajama Wearer

- Attend a Slumber Party
The first thing you need to do is attend a slumber party by getting an older sim to throw one for you. You’ll get the older sim (like a parent) to start an event from the social menu on their phone and choose slumber party.

You can still have your child aged sim be the one who is the host, and they can invite their friends and have a really fun time. You’ll see this requirement satisfied at the end of the event.
There are actually a bunch of ways you can gain the social skill in the game, with the obvious one being any time your sim is talking to others. You’ll gain it literally anytime they’re doing social interactions with any sim which is nice.
Some other things you can do to gain this skill include chatting in a kids chatroom on the computer, talking to one of the giant stuffed animals, watching funny videos on Sim.tv on the computer and researching idioms.
Stage Two: Storyteller

The best sims at a sleepover are the ones who are super creative and interesting, so having the creativity skill is key. There are a bunch of ways to gain this skill including playing the kid’s violin or a piano, playing with dolls on a dollhouse or drawing pictures on the activity table.
If you have The Sims 4: Parenthood installed in your game you also have the option to use a Private Journal to get your sim to write in it and gain creativity!
- Tell 3 Stories from a Sleeping Bag
When you have a sleepover you need somewhere to sleep, which is a sleeping bag! You can purchase The Cozy Camper Sleeping Bag for your sim and the other kids will bring their own.

Once you have a sleeping bag set up you can click on it and choose tell story and pick a story type. Then, a menu will open and you’ll be able to choose which sims you can tell the story to.

Your sim will sit on the sleeping bag and the other sims gather around to hear the story!
- Exchange a Friendship Bracelet
With this pack we got a friendship bracelet making kit that lets you exchange bracelets with others. You’ll first need to get that kit into your sim’s inventory and then click on it and choose make friendship bracelet. Then, choose which type to make depending on vibes.

The finished bracelet will appear in your sim’s inventory and you can click it at any time and choose exchange friendship bracelets and a menu will appear letting you choose who to exchange it with.

A cute animation will happen and you may even get a notification that’s super adorable about the interaction.

Stage Three: Host with the Most

- Achieve Gold in a Slumber Party Event
The best part about this pack is slumber parties and you want to throw the best ones! To finish this aspiration you’ll need to earn gold on this event. Since it’s a sleepover you actually have a ton of time because it’s overnight.

The best thing to do is get all the tasks at the bottom done before putting any of the kids to sleep. You’ll do things like getting them to eat, play games together, watch TV and dance to music. Then, once you’re done with those tasks get your sim to go to sleep and others will follow and you’ll easily be able to get gold.
In the first part of this aspiration your sim needed to get to level 3 of the social skill, so you were already halfway there. To get your sim to level 6 you’ll just need to keep chatting with other sims, researching idioms on the computer and talking to one of the giant teddy bears!
In the second stage of this aspiration your sim needed to get to level 3 of this skill, so you’re pretty much there. You’ll just need to continue doing things like playing piano or violin, drawing on the activity table or playing with dolls.
Practiced Host Reward Trait
When a child finishes the sims 4 slumber party animal aspiration they are going to be awarded with the practiced host trait. This trait’s description reads “These sims are some of the best event hosts. Their friendly and funny socials during parties will always succeed.”
