If you want your sim to have lots of friends you should play the sims 4 friend of the world aspiration.
This aspiration focuses your sims on making friends and gaining the charisma skill!
Gregarious Bonus Trait
When your sim starts with any of the popularity aspirations like this one they’ll be given the gregarious bonus trait.
This trait’s description reads “Gregarious sims build friendly relationships faster.” Gregarious sims will finish this aspiration faster because they’ll have an easier time making tons of friends!
Best Traits for The Sims 4 Friend of the World Aspiration
You should always put thought into your sim’s traits when you are creating them and these traits are helpful for this aspiration:
- Outgoing: A sim with this trait will enjoy chatting with others more, which makes it easier to gain friends.
- Self-Assured: The best mood for your sim to be in to gain the charisma skill is confident. Self-assured sims are going to get confident moodlets more often.
You can also hack your experience further by adding lot traits to your sim’s house so you can gain skills faster.
- Convivial: This lot trait is awesome because it gives a skill gain books to the charisma skill and your sims can get a confident moodlet when they are chatting with other sims!
- Peace and Quiet: This is a lot trait from The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure. If you want to learn the charisma skill through reading skill books you’ll gain it faster with this lot trait.
Stages of the Aspiration
There are four levels of the sims 4 friend of the world aspiration to play through with your sim. You’ll have tasks like gaining the charisma skill and making new friends!
Stage One: New in Town
- Introduce Self to 10 Sims
This is the easiest thing to do because all you need to do is click on 10 sims you don’t know and choose any of the introduction options. You’ll see different options depending on what DLC you have installed. A friendly introduction is available in base game and is a good jumping off point!
- Have 3 Friends
To become friends you’ll need to reach 35% friendship with sims, which is really easy to do.
Growing a relationship with a sim requires you to just do friendly interactions and you don’t really need too many to get to the point of 35% friendship! Just repeat some friendly introductions like deep conversations and getting to know them until you reach this.
Stage Two: Well Liked
- Meet Someone New in 3 Different Locations
This is a super easy requirement because all you need to do is go to different lots in the world or different worlds all together and introduce yourself to sims at each lot. You’ll need to do this three times so you can get this done in just a few minutes, depending how quick your computer can handle a loading screen.
The charisma skill is key to growing relationships because you want to be charismatic! So, you’ll need to reach level four for this stage of the sims 4 friend of the world aspiration.
There are a few ways you can gain this skill including chatting with sims with friendly interactions, practicing a speech in the mirror or reading charisma skill books. All of these will get you to level four pretty easy, but since you’ve already gained friendships you’ll be close to this already.
Stage Three: Super Friend
- Have 12 Friends
In the first stage of this aspiration your sim needed to get 3 friends, but now you need 12! You’ve got a head start since you had three already and you already know what to do.
You’ll need to get to 35% friendship with all of these sims which can be done by just doing friendly interactions.
To finish this part of the aspiration you’ll need to get from level 4 to level 6 of the charisma skill. Getting your sim to have 12 friends should get you there, or at least close. You can also practice a speech in the mirror or read charisma skill books to finish this off.
Stage Four: Friend of the World
- Have 20 Friends
This aspiration really is about having as many friends as possible, and having twenty friends. You’ll just need to get twenty different sims to 35% friendship by doing friendly interactions.
The ultimate goal is to become best friends, of course, and you will need to make a BFF for this aspiration. To do this you’ll need to get your sim to 80% friendship with another sim and at this point you may see the become best friends option in the initial menu.
If you don’t see it, you can click on the sim and go to more options and then the relationship menu and choose change relationship and you’ll find become best friends in that menu.
To complete the aspiration your sim will need to max out the charisma skill. You can do this by chatting with other sims, reading skill books or practicing speeches in the mirror.
If you want to do this without effort you can use stats.set_skill_level major_charisma 10 to cheat it!
Beloved Reward Trait
When you finish the sims 4 friend of the world aspiration with your sim they are going to get the beloved reward trait. This trait’s description reads “Everyone remembers a beloved Sim! Their relationships never fade.”
If you didn’t know your sim’s relationships are always decreasing if you don’t spend time on them. You could be BFFs with a sim and not talk to them for a while and lose that relationship with them!
A sim with this trait never has to worry about that which is awesome, especially if you’re playing with a long life span.
