If you love throwing parties you’ll need to play through the sims 4 party animal aspiration.
This aspiration has your sim needing to make friends and throw tons of parties, even getting gold!
Gregarious Bonus Trait
When your sim starts their life with this aspiration they’re going to be given the gregarious bonus trait. This trait is awesome because it helps sims build friendly relationships faster.
In this aspiration you’ll need to have three friends so you can use this to your advantage!
Best Traits for The Sims 4 Party Animal Aspiration
With every aspiration there are specific traits that can be helpful in getting your sims through quickly, here some that can help:
- Outgoing: A sim who is outgoing will enjoy being around other sims more which is great if you are throwing tons of parties!
- Party Animal: This trait comes with The Sims 4: High School Years and has your sim enjoying parties more and having ways to hype up the crowd!
You can even add lot traits to your sim’s house to make the aspiration go by even quicker:
- Party Place: This lot trait comes with The Sims 4: City Living and makes it so your sim has an easier time finishing goals for social events so you can get gold so much easier.
Stages of the Aspiration
There are four stages of the sims 4 party animal aspiration to play through. Each aspiration stage has different tasks from having friends to throwing fun parties and getting gold!
Stage One: New in Town
- Introduce Self to 10 Sims
The first part of this aspiration is super easy, all you need to do is go out into the world and click on a sim and do any of the introduction options.
Depending what packs you have you’ll have different introductions available, but a friendly introduction is always a great option.
- Have 3 Friends
Making friends is slightly important to do if you want to throw parties, because you need people to attend! Making friends is easy though, you just need to get to 35% friendship with these sims.
To get to 35% you’ll just need to focus on doing friendly interactions like getting to know sims and telling jokes and deep conversations. You’ll get there in no time!
Stage Two: Welcoming Host
- Throw 3 Parties
To throw a party you’ll want to head to your sim’s phone and under the social menu you’ll find plan social event. When you click this your sim will make a phone call and a menu will open. You’ll click on the type of party you’d like to have and then click to head to the next page to choose the host, guests and location.
The types of parties you have access to changes depending on what packs you have installed, in the base game you’ll find things like house parties, birthday parties and black and white parties.
You’ll satisfy the requirements for this just by throwing the parties, without having to get a specific goal, but you can work on this and the next task of earning silver at the same time!
- Earn Silver on 3 Social Events
This section has “earn silver on 3 social events” and the next has “earn silver on 3 thrown parties” this means that you can also do dates for this part of the aspiration, but not the next stage.
When you throw social events you’ll see a menu appear in the top left corner which gives you tasks. When you complete these tasks you’ll get points that go toward earning bronze, silver or gold. When you get one of those levels you’ll get rewards which is awesome.
For each party there is a main goal which is different depending on the party. For a house party you’ll see host socialize with guests for an incognito costume party you’ll see a task about discussing costumes with guests. This task is the most important and is relatively easy to complete.
Below you’ll see tasks that when completed will disappear and new tasks will show up until you’ve finished the event.
Finishing just the main goal will get your party to a bronze level so you’ll need to do a few more things to reach the silver level.
Stage Three: Sir Gala Had
- Earn Silver on 3 Thrown Parties
The only difference between this part of the aspiration and the last, is that you’ll have to throw parties. In the last section of this aspiration your sim could earn silver on dates too and that would count!
Your sim now needs to throw at least three parties and get to at least silver at all of them. This could be the same type of party over and over if you want, but it doesn’t need to be. You’ll just need to do all the tasks required to reach silver, which if you do at least the “main task” before the event is over, isn’t too hard.
- Attend Social Events at 5 Unique Locations
Your sim has two options here, you can either throw five events at different locations or you can hope that other sims may invite you to events. However, that happens randomly and you may never see it. So, it’s best to just choose different locations for your sim’s events.
You can throw events at any location almost which is awesome. You’ll just choose a different location each time you throw a party in the plan a social event menu.
Stage Four: Party Animal
- Throw 10 Social Events
For this stage of the aspiration they’ve ramped it up with more events. Your sim will need to be the host for 10 different events. Thankfully, you don’t need to earn a specific level on these events and it’s a cumulative number so it counts the events you’ve already throw.
- Attend 15 Social Events
Thankfully the 10 events that you throw also count toward this, so you can throw 10 and attend 5 that other people throw or you can just throw all 15 events. This includes anything that you can find under plan social event!
- Earn Gold on 2 Thrown Parties
We’ve discussed how you can get silver on these events but now your sim needs to get gold on two thrown parties. So, you’ll plan a social event like a birthday party, a black and white party, or a house party and do all of the tasks so you can get gold.
The key to this is to have more than one sim in your sim’s household! You can have your sim socializing with the guests which is the main goal of many parties, while having the other sim facilitating other tasks like playing games, dancing or drinking.
You’ll need to complete the main task, and try your best to finish every single task so you can get gold. When you do you’ll even get a reward!
Perfect Host Reward Trait
When your sim finishes the sims 4 party animal aspiration they are going to be given the perfect host reward trait. This trait’s description reads “Perfect Hosts get a boost to the score of any social event they throw.”
This is a fun reward trait because you’ll have a much easier time getting gold on birthday parties, weddings, and more!
