How to Cut a Gemstone Valued at §2500 in The Sims 4
There are a few things you need to consider to get a gemstone that’s valued higher, and all of them are so important.
The first is that your sim needs to have a maxed out level of the gemology skill. Why? Well, you want to create the highest difficulty type of gemstone which is the gnome which is available at the higher levels of the skill.
You’ll also want to make sure that your sim is in the right mood. For anything involving the gemology skill you’ll want your sim to feel focused. You can get them to feel focused easily by pondering moves on a chess board!
The next thing you need to have is a rare crystal to cut into a gemstone. These are going to create the highest quality and most valuable cut gemstones.
The best thing you can do is create a Gnome-Shaped Gemstone with a rare crystal! For example, a gnome shaped gemstone with the rainborz crystal is a great option.
With that combination my sim was able to create a gemstone worth 2531!
This is one of the harder parts of the crystal crafter aspiration, right there with summoning the Grim Reaper with Jet! These little things are so much fun to figure out for me!
