How to Stop Being a Fairy in The Sims 4
If you’re sick of the fairy life you can always stop being a fairy in The Sims 4.
This is a process coming to you with The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature and is super easy to do.
How to Stop Being a Fairy in The Sims 4
The process to stop being a fairy is pretty much the same as the one to become a fairy, so it’s nice and easy.
Your sim is going to need to get their hands on a fairy seedling. There are a few ways to do this:
- Ask a Fairy for One
- Order on On The Computer (Must first research how to become fairy before this is available)
- Get One From Completing Fables
- Forage for One
Once your sim manages to get a fairy seedling they will click on the ground or a garden pot or planter and you’ll see an option to plant fairy seedling. When you do this it will summon Mother Nature immediately.
When she arrives you’ll click on her and choose fairy > ask to remove fairy essence. When you do this Mother Nature will do some magic and your sim will fly into the air, then you’ll have your sim’s fairy essence in their inventory.
When this process occurs your sim’s emotional force will be drained and they’ll be struggling. You’ll get a notification letting you know that the fairy essence is in your inventory and you must travel to Moondrop Springs to give your essence back to the waters.
Your sim will also get a +3 Fine moodlet called Mundane Calling that lasts 24 hours, giving your sim one day to complete the task.
Once you have the Mundane Calling moodlet active you’ll need to travel to the Everdew neighbourhood to Moondrop Springs. This is the magical body of water that turns your sim into a fairy, and turns them back into a sim.
You’ll find this body of water between the Summerdream lot and the Starsong Lounge lot.
When you arrive at Moondrop Springs you’ll click on the water and choose relinquish fairy essence. When you do this your sim will pour their essence back into the water.
The sim will then end up floating in the air and their wings will be removed and when they land back down their occult will be removed.
When you do this your sim will get a +3 Happy moodlet called Disenchanted that lasts six hours. You’ll also get a notification saying sense of normalcy letting you know that your sim is no longer a fairy.
At any time during this process before you pour your essence in the water your sim can change their mind! You just click on the fairy essence in your sim’s inventory and drink it instead, this will restore their emotional force and they can go on living like a fairy.
