The Sims 4 Nature Nomad Aspiration

Looking to be one with nature? Playing through the sims 4 nature nomad aspiration is a fun way to do it!

In this aspiration from The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature your sim will get to sleep outside, forage for food and more.

Collector Bonus Trait

When you have a sim choose an aspiration they’ll always get a bonus trait. Since the nature nomad aspiration is a nature aspiration, your sim will be given the collector bonus trait.

This trait isn’t super helpful for this aspiration, but it can be fun if you want to finish collections!

Best Traits for The Sims 4 Nature Nomad Aspiration

You should always choose traits that are going to help your sims get through their aspirations. This aspiration is very specific and has your sims spending so much time outside so this trait can help:

  • Loves Outdoors: Obviously. This sim will sleep outside, bathe in open water and catch fish, they better like being outside!

Stages of the Aspiration

There are only two stages to this aspiration so it’s quick and easy to complete. When you finish the tasks your sims will get satisfaction points to spend on rewards and finishing the aspiration will get them a bonus trait!

Stage One: Self-Sufficient Sim

  • Catch a Fish

The very first thing you need to do is catch a single fish. Easy! You just need to first find a fishing location. In the new world from Enchanted by Nature you’ll be able to find one at the end of the dock (in front of the fish shop) in the Cost of Adhmor neighbourhood.

You’ll see a small wood sign with a fish on it, click on that and click go fishing. Get your sim to fish there (or at any other fishing location) until they catch a single fish to satisfy this requirement.

  • Harvest a Plant on Sim’s Home Lot

Your next task is to harvest a plant on a sim’s home lot. To do this you need to first plant a crop, the easiest way to get items you can plant is to purchase seed packs by clicking on either a garden pot or garden planter. You’ll get these packs in your sim’s inventory and you can open them to get plantable items.

Then, place them either on the ground or in a pot or planter and click on them again and choose plant. You’ll need to water them, weed them and care for them until they are fully grown and start having items to harvest on them.

Once your plant is ready to be harvested you can click on it and choose either harvest all or to harvest that specific item and it will satisfy this requirement!

At level two of the natural living skill your sim will unlock the ability to forage for food. You’ll be able to click on the ground (best on grass) and choose forage for and then choose forage for food.

Your sim will get items like apples, grapes, and plantains and they will immediately be put into your sim’s inventory.

Stage Two: Natural Living Expert

At any time your sim can click on the ground and choose sleep here. They will immediately curl up on the ground and have a nice little sleep.

When your sim has between level 1 and level 5 of the natural living skill they are going to have a bad time. They’ll get a +1 tense moodlet called Rough Rest showing that they had a bad time.

At level 6 of the natural living skill your sim will start to love sleeping outdoors. They’ll get a moodlet that’s a +2 happy moodlet called Grounded Slumber. This is when you will satisfy the requirement for this part of the aspiration!

This part of the aspiration requires your sim to be at level 9 or 10 of the natural living skill. Once you hit at least level 9 you’ll click on a plant and choose talk to nature.

When you do this your sim will get a +2 Inspired moodlet called A Natural Muses which is great!

With this pack your sim can bathe in any open water in any world, which is nice for when you don’t have access to a bathroom. However, when your sim has lower than level 5 of the natural living skill they aren’t going to love doing it.

To do this you’ll need to click on water that’s not too deep but not too shallow to get your sim to bathe in. You’ll only be able to satisfy this requirement when your sim reaches level 5 of the natural living skill!

Nature’s Best Bud Reward Trait

When your sim manages to finish the sims 4 nature nomad aspiration they are going to be given the nature’s best bud reward trait. This trait’s description reads “Sims with this trait find their balance out in the natural world, and have a little extra fun when they run into the Garden Pal or Innisgreen.”
