How to Get Fairy Dust in The Sims 4
When you’re playing as a fairy you’ll need to get fairy dust in The Sims 4.
To do anything interesting with fairies you must collect fairy dust as much as you can and there are many ways to do it!
This ability comes to your game with The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature.
How to Get Fairy Dust in The Sims 4
There are a bunch of ways you can collect fairy dust when you’re a fairy so let’s dig into them all. The first way to get fairy dust is to just ask another fairy for it, easy! They may not want to give it to you if you don’t have a good relationship though, so build a friendship then ask them.
The next way is that you can head to the middle of the Everdew neighbourhood and click on the Mossveil Fairy Hub and choose collect daily fairy dust ration. This is available to fairies that are in good standing so you need to be a good fairy and only use your fairy magic in Everdew, using it in other neighbourhoods causes your standing to decrease and you’ll lose this ability.
When you do this you’ll get a notification telling you that you’ve collected your daily ration and you can return for more in 24 hours.
The next way is to click on your sim and under the fairy menu you’ll see dust off fairy dust. This only happens once in a while, but you’ll get some fairy dust in your sim’s inventory when you do this!
When you have a fairy house or find one in Everdew you can shake it for fairy dust. The fairy dust in the fairy house needs to accumulate, so you’ll need to use it by sleeping, taking baths or throwing dance parties and then the shake for fairy dust option will appear.
When your sim takes a bath inside of the fairy house you can find fairy dust that’s falling onto the floor outside of the house. This is silly and happens when my fairies use the regular shower or bath too and it’ll just land on the bathroom floor. You can click on it and choose collect all fairy dust to put it in your sim’s inventory.
The final way I’ve found to get fairy dust is to click on the ground and choose forage here. If your sim is foraging in the Everdew neighbourhood you can find fairy dust relatively often.
