To be able to harvest unidentified plants you’ll need to have your sim vacation in Granite Falls. This is the fun camping and cabin world from Outdoor Retreat.
When you’re walking around this world to explore you’ll sometimes come upon a plant that when you hover over it it says wild plant instead of having you know what it is.
You can click on these plants and choose harvest unidentified plant and the sim will pick the item and it’ll end up in their inventory.
As you gain the herbalism skill your sim will unlock the ability to attempt to identify these plants so they can use them in herbalism potions.
Once you start harvesting these plants you’ll be able to identify them and turn them into all sorts of herbalism remedies. It’s a big part about becoming a true outdoor enthusiast and using everything the great outdoors has to offer!
