The Sims 4 Artistic Prodigy Aspiration
A kid who wants to be an artist must join the sims 4 artistic prodigy aspiration.
Finishing this aspiration gives your sim the creativity gifted trait allowing them to gain all creative skills faster as adults!
Best Traits for The Sims 4 Artistic Prodigy Aspiration
Children only get one trait spot which is a bummer, but if you only have one this is the best trait to give a kid in this aspiration:
- Creative: This is probably the best trait for this aspiration because sims who are creative will do better with artistic pursuits. They’ll also get inspired moodlets more often!
You should also add lot traits to your sim’s household so they can finish this faster and easier.
- Sunny Aspect: In parts of this aspiration your sim needs to get inspired, and Sunny aspect has a chance to give a sim an inspired moodlet at 6PM.
- Child’s Play: This trait from The Sims 4: City Living makes your children gain skills faster which will help your sim gain the creativity skill quicker.
Stages of the Aspiration
There are three stages for each of the base game child aspirations. Each stage has tasks for your sims to complete and when you finish them your sim will get satisfaction points to spend on rewards.
Stage One: Active Imagination
- Have an Activity Table
The first thing you need to do is purchase an activity table. There are activity tables in a lot of packs but the one in the base game is called Creative Art Thou Activity Table and it costs 300 simoleons.
You can find this in the kid’s section in the activities part. Once you place it on your lot it will satisfy this need.
- Draw 2 Pictures While Inspired
The next thing your sim needs to do is to draw two pictures on the activity table while they feel inspired. The easiest way to get your sim to feel inspired is to get them to take a thoughtful shower.
Once you get an inspired moodlet you’ll go to the activity table and click on it and choose draw and pick which type of drawing. There are five to unlock and you get more as you gain the creativity skill.
Stage Two: Daydreamer
In the sims 4 artistic prodigy aspiration you need to get your child to level 10 of the creativity skill. For this section you need to reach level 5 which is super easy.
You can gain the children’s creativity skill by playing violin or piano, drawing pictures on the activity table and playing with toys.
- Play With 3 Toys
Next up your sim needs to play with 3 toys. You can get toys in the toy section of the kid’s menu by either purchasing individual toys or getting a toy box that will come with a few toys already in it.
If you choose to purchase a toy box you can click on it and choose play with toy and then choose the toy to play with. If you choose individual toys you can just click on them and choose play. Do this three times to satisfy this requirement!
Stage Three: Artistic Prodigy
- Play Instruments for 5 Total Hours
The first task of the last section is to play instruments for five total hours. This is easy because it is a cumulative number, so you can play for an hour here and an hour there until you reach it.
You can choose to purchase a violin made for kids and get them to practice on that.
Your child is also able to play the piano and gain the piano skill as a child which is super nice and that will also count toward this requirement.
- Draw All 5 Picture Types on the Activity Table
As you gain the creativity skill you’ll start unlocking new drawing types on the activity table. There are five total and for this part your sim will need to have drawn all 5.
That means you’ll need to have drawn one people, one shapes, one monster, one vehicle and one animal!
To finish off this aspiration your sim needs to reach level 10 of the creativity skill. You gain this skill in a bunch of ways from drawing on the creativity table to playing instruments to playing with toys.
Creatively Gifted Reward Trait
When a child finishes the sims 4 artistic prodigy aspiration they are going to be given the creatively gifted reward trait. This trait’s description says “Creatively gifted sims build adult creative skills faster.”
This is an incredible trait to have because it helps so much in the future. You’ll gain so many different skills faster including:
- Painting
- Violin
- Guitar
- Writing
- Flower Arranging (Seasons)
- Piano
- Pipe Organ (Vampires)
