How to Authenticate Artifacts in The Sims 4
When your sim spends time in the jungle they may discover little dig sites on the ground. When you excavate these dig sites you can get fun artifacts in your inventory.
What are you supposed to do with these? Well, smart sims will take the time to authenticate them to see if they’re real!
To unlock the ability to authenticate artifacts your sim is required to reach level 3 of the archaeology skill. You gain this skill through excavating dig piles, uncovering dirt clumps or reading skill books.
To authenticate an artifact you’ll need to drag one onto the table or uncover a dirt clump on the table and the artifact will stay on the table. You can then click on the artifact and choose authenticate artifact.

You can also click on the archaeology table when its empty and choose authenticate artifact and a menu will open. The menu will let you choose whichever artifacts are not yet authenticated in your sim’s inventory.

When your sim is done authenticating you’ll get a notification telling you if its real or not and you can place it back in your sim’s inventory.

You also have the option to send an artifact off for authentication for ยง25 but that’s no fun! Just do it yourself!
Authenticating Artifacts for Money
When your sim reaches level 9 of the archaeology skill they are going to be, like famous! They are going to start getting artifacts sent to them from Sir Vincent Skullfinder that they can authenticate for money and it’s a decent amount of simoleons.

It only takes a few minutes to do and is a great way to earn extra cash on the side!
Being able to find all the artifacts from The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure is a process that takes a while. But authenticating them is super fun and interesting and some of them are so cute, even the fake ones!
