- Genius: Part of gaining vampire XP is learning the vampire lore skill and the best mood for that skill is focused. Well, genius sims get focused more often!
- Quick Learner: The quick learned bonus trait from knowledge aspirations will help your sim gain the vampire lore skill quicker.
You can also add some lot traits to your sim’s household to make it even easier:
- Registered Vampire Lair: This trait gets your sim random gifts in the mail like plasma packs that can help keep your sim alive!
- Vampire Nexus: This lot trait makes vampires more likely to visit which means you can ask them for training to up your rank or easily find vampires to spar with.
Stages of the Aspiration
There are four stages of the sims 4 master vampire aspiration for your sim to work through. When you finish tasks for this aspiration your sim will be awarded satisfaction points you can spend in the reward store.
Stage One: The Basics

The very first thing you need to do to become a master vampire is, of course, become a vampire. The first way you can do this is to create a vampire in create-a-sim. You’ll find it under add occult sim and then you can choose vampire!

If you started off as a sim and want to experience becoming a vampire through gameplay you can ask another vampire to turn you. The three big vampires in the pack (Caleb, Vlad and Lilith) are all options for this!
You’ll want to introduce yourself to one of these vampires and get your sim to 30% friendship with them and the ask to turn option will appear. This doesn’t mean they’ll say yes!

If the vampire declines your ask, you just need to keep becoming better friends with them until they agree. Or, try another vampire instead, maybe they’ll want to turn you!
When they accept they’ll give your sim some mind control situation and bite their neck and the process will start. It’ll take 3 days for your sim to fully turn and you’ll experience weird phenomenons like getting nausea from eating during this time.
- Use a Computer to Search for Information on Vampires
Once you’re a vampire you’re going to want more information about them. To start learning about vampires and gaining the vampire lore skill you’ll want to click on a computer and go to vampire secrets > search for information on vampires.

Your sim will hop onto the computer and you’ll gain some knowledge through notifications. Your sim will then be able to purchase the first vampire tome to learn more.
- Read Encyclopedia Vampirica Vol 1
After you’ve searched for information on vampires you’ll want to keep learning by purchasing a vampire tome. You’ll find this in the vampire secrets menu and a menu will appear letting you pick the book. Get your sim to purchase Encyclopedia Vampirica Vol 1 and it will appear in their inventory.

These vampire tomes are how you can gain the vampire lore skill and doing so will give your vampire XP to increase your rank! Just get your sim to read this book and they’ll finish this part of the aspiration.
Stage Two: Discover Dark Birthrights

The easiest way to gain the vampire lore skill is to read vampire tomes. These are the books you can purchase under the vampire secrets menu on a computer. When you purchase them they appear in your sim’s inventory and you can read them to gain the skill.
- Participate in Vampire Training
A fun way to become a stronger vampire is to ask other vampires for vampire training. As of now, your sim isn’t very strong so they can ask pretty much every vampire for help with training.

You can go up to any vampire and start chatting with them then click more choices > vampires > request vampiric training and the training will begin. During this time the other sim will teach your sim random things and your vampire XP will go up.
The biggest part of this aspiration is increasing your vampire rank from Fledgling vampire all the way to Grand Master Vampire! Your sim needs to hit the minor vampire level to move to the next stage of the aspiration.

To get your sim to the minor vampire level you’ll want to gain vampire XP through various tasks including:
- Reading Vampire Tomes
- Searching for Information on Vampires
- Requesting Vampiric Training
- Vampire Spars With Other Vampires
The fastest way to gain vampire XP is to just search for information on the computer over and over. You’ll get the XP even if your sim learns nothing!
When your sim reaches the minor level you’ll get a notification letting you know. You’ll also get some power points to spend on incredible perks.

Stage Three: Strength and Wisdom

At this point you may have already reached level 7 of the vampire lore skill, but if you haven’t you just need to keep reading those vampire tomes until you reach it.
- Defeat 3 Vampires in Combat
The next thing you need to do is defeat vampires in combat and there are two ways you can do that. The first is to a vampiric spar which is just a friendly battle between two vampires. Your sim and the other vampire will go into a black cloud and battle and one will win!

The other option is to do a vampiric duel which you can find under the mean > malicious social menu. This is visually the same as a vampiric spar but it will ruin your sim’s relationship with the other vampire and make them despise each other.

The best thing you can do to make this happen faster is to purchase the vampiric strength perks. There are 3 levels of this to purchase and as you get them your sim will have a higher chance of winning in combat.

The next thing you need to do is become a prime vampire which is the second rank of being a vampire.

To get your ranking up you need to keep gaining vampire XP through the following tasks:
- Requesting Vampiric Training from Stronger Vampires
- Participating in Vampiric Spars
- Searching for Information on Vampires on a Computer
- Continuing to Gain The Vampire Lore Skill with Vampire Tomes
Once you have enough vampire XP you’ll get a notification telling you that your sim has reached prime vampire!

Stage Four: The Ancient One

- Read The Ultimate Vampire Tome
As you gain the vampire lore skill you unlock new vampire tomes to read. The Ultimate Vampire Tome is the highest level of these books that you can purchase and is available when your sim reaches level 13 of the vampire lore skill.

To purchase this book you can click on the computer and under vampire secrets choose purchase vampire tomes. A pie menu will appear showing you all of them and you’ll want to pick The Ultimate Vampire Compendium. This book will cost your sim 1,000 simoleons!
Get your sim to read this book to finish this task!
The hardest task in this aspiration is becoming a grand master vampire. This is the highest level of vampire rank and your sim will need to work through the Master vampire rank first, since we only made it to prime in the last stage.

To get your sim through the master vampire rank and to the grand master vampire rank you’ll just need to do more of the same tasks. This can feel repetitive but it’s easy, and totally worth it. Get your sim to do the following:
- Search for Information on Vampires on Computer
- Read Vampire Tomes
- Do Vampiric Spars With Other Vampires
- Request Vampiric Training
The fastest way to increase your rank is to just search for information on a computer over and over again. Even if you get the notification telling you that your sim learned nothing you’ll still get XP and you don’t have to do anything else.
When your sim reaches Grand Master level you’ll get a notification letting you know!

This notification also tells you that your sim isn’t done yet, they can still earn vampire XP. Why? Well, you can earn more XP so you can keep purchasing more vampire perks with power points earned so your sim can be even more powerful.

- Survive for an Additional 20 Days as a Vampire
The final thing your sim will need to do is survive an additional 20 days as a vampire! This means that from the moment you reach level four of the aspiration you’ll need to live for 20 more days, or more.
You need to avoid things that can have your sim die as a vampire like overexposure to the sun or overusing their vampire energy.

You’ll also not want to cure them of their vampirism or have another sim do that to them during this time! Just avoid sunlight, drink some plasma or suck blood and hangout for 20 days and you’ll be good to go.
A True Master Bonus Trait
When your sim finishes the sims 4 master vampire aspiration they’ll get the A True Master reward trait. It’s description reads “A true master not only excels at mind control powers, they also have greater stores of vampire energy to call upon.”
