How to Become a Minor Vampire in The Sims 4

If you want to grow your vampire strength you’ll want to become a minor vampire in The Sims 4.

This is available with The Sims 4: Vampires and is super important to getting smarter and stronger in your sim’s vampiric life.

You’ll need to do specific tasks to get your sim’s vampire rank up that all center around learning more about being a vampire!

How to Become a Minor Vampire in The Sims 4

When your sim becomes a vampire they’ll start at the fledgling vampire rank where they’ll be weak and not have any fun powers. You’ll obviously want to continue to rank up starting with becoming a minor vampire.

There are a whole bunch of things your sims can do to grow their vampire rank. The first thing you should do is go on a computer and choose vampire secrets > search for information on vampires.

This is easiest way to gain vampire XP because you can do it back to back and even when your sim has nothing left to learn you’ll still get XP.

Once your sim learns a bit about vampires you’ll be able to go to vampire secrets > purchase vampire tomes. These are the skill books for the vampire lore skill but you can only purchase one at a time once you unlock them.

You’ll start with the Encyclopedia Vampirica Volume 1 and read this until your sim has exhausted all the information. Reading these gains your sims the vampire lore skill and as you gain that skill you’ll increase your vampire rank.

You can read all of these back to back to get your sim to max out their vampire lore skill. You can also use stats.set_skill_level vampire_lore 15 to cheat this skill instead! Gaining this skill is a great way to gain some easy vampire XP to get to minor vampire.

If you haven’t reached minor vampire yet you have a few more options. You’ll want to find a vampire who is stronger than you (i.e., Lilith, Caleb or Vlad) and click on them and introduce yourself. Then click them and choose the vampire menu and find request vampiric training so you can learn lots from them and gain more XP.

Just by doing these things you should reach the minor vampire level and can start spending your points!

How to Become a Minor Vampire With Cheats

If you want to do this without all the effort you can just give your sim vampire XP with cheats! You just need to type in stats.set_stat rankedstatistic_occult_vampireXP 202 and you’ll get to the minor vampire level.
