If you’re a vampire you may want to have some talented offspring, so you need the sims 4 vampire family aspiration.
This aspiration comes with The Sims 4: Vampires and has your sims working on training up their vampire offspring.
Your sim will need to become the best vampire they can be and transfer those vibes to their offspring.
Domestic Bonus Trait
When you have a sim who starts with a family aspiration when they’re created or when they age up they’ll be given the domestic bonus trait.
This trait doesn’t really help with this aspiration because it’s about offspring which are sims you’ve turned, not your children.
Best Traits for The Sims 4 Vampire Family Aspiration
You should always put thought into the traits you give your sims so you can get through aspirations faster. Here’s some traits you can choose for the vampire family aspiration:
- Outgoing: Part of this aspiration is becoming friends with your vampire offspring, so being outgoing is a great option.
- Incredibly Friendly: This trait is a reward trait from the satisfaction points store and comes with The Sims 4: Outdoor Retreat. This trait makes it so your sim will gain lots of friendship points from nice introductions!
You can also add lot traits to your sim’s house to make things easier:
- Registered Vampire Lair: This trait makes your house an official vampire home and you’ll get goodies like plasma packs in the mail from time to time.
Stages of the Aspiration
The sims 4 vampire family aspiration has four levels for you to work through. Each level has different tasks from becoming a vampire to having vampire babies and when you finish them you’ll get some satisfaction points.
Stage One: The Basics
The first thing you have to do to start a vampire family is become a vampire. There are 2 ways you can do this with the first way being to create your sim as a vampire in create-a-sim.
The second way you can become a vampire is to be turned into one by another vampire. To do this you need to become friends (around 30% friendship) with a vampire like Vlad or Caleb until you see the ask to turn option appear.
If your relationship is good enough the vampire will bite your sim to turn you.
A little while later you’ll get a notification letting you know that it takes a few days for your sim to fully turn but the process has become. Get through those few days and you’ll satisfy this need.
There’s some draw backs to becoming a vampire. You’ll get a moodlet called strangely hungry and your sim will get sick any time they eat regular food while they have that moodlet. Your sim are going to lose their hunger need faster than normal so they’ll be so hungry but hate eating.
After a while your sim will change to a disgusted by food moodlet and they really won’t like eating during this time.
Eventually disgusted will turn into appetite lost and when your sim eats any human food they’ll get a +5 uncomfortable nauseated moodlet. They really aren’t having a good time at this point.
That moodlet will start to flash and that’s when your sim will turn into a vampire. You’ll see the change on their face, it’s kind-of scary.
Stage Two: I Have the Power
- Purchase The “Vampire Creation” Power
As you become stronger as a vampire you’ll unlock the ability to purchase vampire powers. These are really fun traits that your vampire can take on that can impact them in huge ways.
To complete this part your sim will need to get the vampire creation power which lets them turn other vampires. The description on this power says “Your sim’s desire may be to increase the pool of vampiric kind, either to ensure they have eternal friends for their eternal life, or to outpace the sim population. With vampire creation, your sim can turn sims into vampires, allowing them to live, as the undead, for the first time.”
Before you can purchase vampire creation you’ll need to purchase all 3 levels of Occult Student, the vampire power right under it.
To purchase these rewards you’ll need to gain power points. You can do this by doing anything to do with vampires from gaining the vampire lore skill to getting vampire training from higher level vampires.
Becoming a minor vampire is easy, you just need to get enough power points to do it. To increase your rank you just do vampire tasks such as vampire training and doing dark meditation. You can also do vampiric spar with other vampires to increase your rank.
A great way to gain it quickly is to just get your sim to use the computer and keep hitting search for information on vampires.
Stage Three: I Am Not Alone
Throughout this aspiration you need to keep upping your vampire rank. There are so many things you can do to increase your rank including:
- Searching for information on vampires on a computer
- Vampiric Spar with other vampires
- Ask higher rank vampires for training
- Dark Meditation
If you want to just get it quickly you can just keep your sim on a computer searching for information over and over.
Your offspring includes anyone you’ve turned into a vampire using your vampire creation perk. So you’ll first need to convert 5 sims into full grown vampires.
You won’t be able to train them as vampires until they’ve fully turned, so complete the turn and then wait a few days and invite them over and you can click on them and go to vampires > offer vampiric training and that will satisfy this need.
You’ll need to do this three times, with three different offspring!
Converting sims is actually so easy, you don’t even need to be friends with them or anything. You’ll find the option under the vampire menu where you’ll see turn into vampire.
When you click this option your sim will do just what was done to them. They’ll use their powers to make the sim not fight back and eventually bite them and that sim will start the process of going to be a vampire.
Pro Tip: Purchase the vampiric entrance vampire perk so you can enter people’s homes without their knowledge to turn them into vampires!
Stage Four: A New Family
- Be Good Friends With 5 Offspring
Part of having a vampire family is being in good relationships with those you turn. To complete this part of the aspiration you just need to become good friends with the five sims you’ve turned.
To do this you can do some positive interactions with these sims until you get the notification saying that you’ve become good friends.
To become a master vampire you need to continue working on your vampire rank. The fastest way to gain more vampire XP is to get your sim to search for information on vampires back to back on a computer.
You even get points when there’s no more information to find!
I Am The Master Reward Trait
When you finish off the sims 4 vampire family aspiration you’ll see your sim gets the I Am The Master reward trait. This trait’s description reads “I am the master grants supernatural control. Command powers used on vampire offspring always succeed.”
