This is such a fun and silly thing to do, letting your sims learn all about things that have happened to others.

You can even use this to blackmail other sims for money!

How to Snoop for Secrets in The Sims 4

To discover secrets about sims you have a few options from eavesdropping to snooping but I think snooping is more fun. There are a few places you can snoop starting outside the sim’s home with the mailbox.

This is the trickier one because other sims might see you and cause your sims to get caught and get an embarrassed moodlet.

The more fun options for snooping are inside other sim’s homes, but how do you get inside? Well you can start by going to sim’s home while they’re home and knocking on the door.

However, knocking is legal and boring. Let’s break in! If you want to snoop without anyone around, you can break into a sim’s home by clicking on their front door when they aren’t home.

When you do this your sim will have a wrench and start working toward opening that door. It has a chance of failing and you can just do it again until the door opens. Once successful your sim will have free reign over the entire home.

When you’re inside the home, either through knocking or through a break-in you can start snooping. There are a few places you can snoop starting with a desk.

Then you can head into a sim’s bedroom and snoop all around their bed and their dresser to find more secrets.

When you do these interactions you’ll get a notification either letting you know that you learned a secret or letting you know that no secrets were found.

Now that you’re fully aware of how you can snoop around for another sim’s secrets you can be a nuisance and blackmail everyone, or just finish off the seeker of secrets aspiration instead!
