You can learn all sorts of weird stuff about sims like when they ripped their jeans or when a cowplant tried to eat them.

How to Discover Secrets in The Sims 4

There are a bunch of ways you can discover secrets about sims. When you do these interactions you’ll either get a notification saying no secrets here or you’ll get a secret to learn about in their profile.

The first way you can discover secrets is to eavesdrop. There are actually two ways to do this, either on a sim’s front door or on their conversations.

To eavesdrop on a door you’ll click on a door when a sim is home and choose eavesdrop. Your sim will then put their ear up to their ear and get one of the two notifications.

You can also eavesdrop on sim’s conversations to get their secrets. To do this you need to find two sims who are chatting then find the eavesdrop option. This was under friendly > gossip > eavesdrop for me.

When you do it, your sim will stand near them and hold their hand to their ear and listen, and you might get to know a secret.

Your next option is to snoop around a sim’s home to find more secrets. You can either go over to a sim’s home and snoop when they’re around, but that’s risky because they can catch you.

It’s way more fun to start breaking into other sim’s houses. To do this you go to a sim’s house when they aren’t home and click break in on the door. Your sim will take a wrench and a little chaos and try to break in. This will let you snoop around without anyone finding you!

Once you’re inside a sim’s home you’re free to start snooping. You can find the snoop option on items like desks, beds, and dressers. When you do this you’ll get some good secrets!

The final place you can snoop is on a sim’s mailbox to get more secrets. Just be aware that if you look for secrets too close together you might not discover any of them!
