Sometimes you want to break up couples in The Sims 4, and that’s okay.

You may want to steal Bob Pancakes from Eliza, or might be trying to be a villainous valentine.

Whatever the reason, you need to know how to easily break up other sims!

How to Break Up Couples in The Sims 4

If you want to be a devious little sim and ruin some lives, you can go around and break up sims. This is super easy to do and is available to any sim who is in a relationship, regardless of your relationship with them.

You’ll find the option to tell a sim to dump their partner under relationship > other sims > break up with. And yes, I was devious enough to have this conversation with Eliza in the room.

When you click on this you’ll get a notification with that sim’s response. This doesn’t work every time but when it does, it’s magical. Bob was totally into dumping Eliza.

If you’re in a lot away from their partner it’ll say “I’ll talk to them” at the end and they’ll call to let you know they broke up with them.

If you’re on the lot with both sims the sim you talked to will immediately go and break up with the other sim and you’ll get a notification telling you how it went.

With that their relationship is over and I can leave them both lonely or let them be happy… for once.
