This aspiration is about ruining the romantic lives of not just yourself, but others too.
You’ll be breaking up couples, cheating on everyone and having lots of exes!
Dastardly Bonus Trait
When you have a sim start their life with a deviance aspiration they are going to get the dastardly bonus trait. This trait’s description says “Dastardly sims perform stronger and more successful mean interactions.”
This is so helpful for achieving “ex” status because strong mean interactions help you break up faster so you can be exes!
Best Traits for The Sims 4 Villainous Valentine Aspiration
There are a whole bunch of traits in The Sims 4 and each of them impacts your sims in different ways. Here are some traits that can be helpful when palying through this aspiration:
- Romantic: Your sim needs to become exes with 5 sims, meaning they have to make 5 people first fall in love. So, being romantic helps by making your sims flirty which you can take advantage of for this!
- Evil: Evil sims love to see others suffer and love being around angry sims. You’ll definitely have some suffering with cheating and breaking up couples.
- Outgoing: Your sim is going to need to spend a lot of time chatting with other sims in this aspiration so outgoing is always a great choice.
- Noncommittal: A sim who is noncommittal is a great option because they aren’t going to get sad when they break up with sims.
You can also choose to add some fun lot traits to make your experience even better:
- Romantic Aura: This lot trait comes with The Sims 4: City Living and helps get sims in the mood for love by making them feel flirty.
- Convivial: This trait helps your sims gain the charisma skill faster which is great for making friends or finding new lovers and making them like you faster.
Stages of the Aspiration
Unlike most aspirations with multiple stages, the sims 4 villainous valentine aspiration only has one stage with huge tasks inside!
Stage One: Villainous Valentine
This aspiration is all about being a horrible partner. To cheat on someone you need to get them in the same room (or park) when you romance with someone else.
This can be anything from kissing someone, doing woohoo with someone other than your partner, or just flirting.
My sim was in a relationship with Katrina Caliente and was at the park. My sim did the enchanting introduction that’s flirty and friendly that you get with a high level of the charisma skill and this counted as cheating.
You just need to cheat 10 times. Which is a wild amount. You have two options, cheat on 10 different couples, or cheat on your primary partner 10 times and get caught by them. I feel like the same partner over and over is so mean! Let them go!
The next thing you need to do in this aspiration is get to “ex” status with five different sims. To do this you first need to be in a romantic relationship.
At around 50% romance with another sim you’ll see the option to ask to be romantic partner. This is how you get into a relationship, which is necessary to become exes.
Once your sim is in that relationship you can break up with them at any time. You can wait until you cheat on them, get into a big fight, or just break up with them randomly on a Tuesday.
You’ll find the option to break up with another sim under the relationship category.
Once you break up you’ll become exes and you just need to do this with five different sims.
You’re not just trying to ruin your own life, you want to ruin the love life of everyone. This means you want to break up couples too!
Breaking up couples isn’t super hard, just become friends with a sim and once you have a high friendship you can start flirting.
Then, once you get a romantic relationship you can ask them to break up. You’ll find this in the social menu under relationship > other sims > break up with.
When you do this interaction you’ll get a notification like this one from Bob Pancakes saying “You are right, Eliza and I are not a good fit for each other after all. I will talk to her.”
This will satisfy the need! Now you can cheat on them and break their heart and leave them alone!
Twisted Heart Reward Trait
If you can get your sim to finish the sims 4 villainous valentine aspiration you’ll be given the twisted heart reward trait.
It’s description reads “If you could see this sim’s heart, you might recoil in disgust. But your sim would never let you see it, and that suits them just fine. Your sims gain bonus social from mean and mischief socials, while shrugging off sad and embarrassed moods much faster than other sims.”
