How to Write a Book in The Sims 4
If you want your sim to be an author you’ll need to know how to write a book in The Sims 4.
This is a requirement for the bestselling author aspiration and is one of my favourite ways to make money.
The royalties you can make from writing books and publishing them is wild.
How to Write a Book in The Sims 4
The only thing you need to write a book is a computer in your sim’s house. If you can’t afford one, you can also head over to a library and use the computers there until you earn enough money to buy one for your sim.
You’ll click on the computer and choose write and you’ll see either practicing writing or genre book and you’ll want to choose genre book.
The only option you’ll have at the beginning is to write a children’s book but as you grow in your sim’s writing skill you’ll get new things unlocked like:
- Poetry Books
- Mystery Books
- Biography Books
- and more!
At any point in the writing process you can stop and eventually go back to that same book by choosing to resume your book under the write option on the computer. Once the book is done your sim can either read the book and leave it in their inventory or publish it for royalties.
