The skill comes to your game with The Sims 4: Business & Hobbies!

What is Tattooing Good For?

Gaining the tattooing skill is super fun if you just want to give sims in your household fun tattoos, or earn money by selling your tattoo designs.

Your sims are also able to run their own tattoo small business from their home!

How to Gain The Sims 4 Tattooing Skill

The first way your sims are able to gain the skill is by creating tattoo designs which you can do on the Digitalistic Sketchpad. You can purchase this from the build menu for §750.

Another way to earn this skill is by actually tattooing other sims. To do this you’ll need the Deluxe Tattoo Table by Inktastic which costs §920.

Once you have this table in your home you can practice tattooing, however, you’ll need another sim around to do this. Practicing doesn’t leave any tattoos on the other sim, thankfully, so there is no permanent damage to your guinea pig sim.

Another option on the table is to offer tattoos to other sims. You can offer custom tattoos which are the designs you drew on the sketch pad or use any of the pre-made options.
