How to Cheat to Become a Ghost in The Sims 4
There are so many different types of death in the game and you can use these sims 4 become a ghost cheats to turn your sim into a ghost.
These cover everything from the base game and all expansion packs up to Adventure Awaits!
How to Use Sims 4 Ghost Cheats
To use these cheats you’ll first need to enable cheat codes by opening the cheat box and typing in testingcheats true and hitting enter. To open the cheat box you can use the following buttons:
- PC: Ctrl + Shift + C
- Mac: Command + Shift + C
- Console: All Four Triggers
Once you have the cheats enabled you can use the cheat codes you’ll find below that correspond to specific death types.
These cheats will immediately turn your sim into a ghost and give them a specific trait that matches the cheat you used. They will get any visual effects of that death type too (i.e., evil chicken in chest if you use death by chicken from cottage living).
All of the cheats on this list are going to turn your sim into a ghost, however, you can also use these to bring your sim back to life. You’ll find the death your sim experienced and you can change the word equip in the cheat to remove to bring them back to life.
Base Game Ghost Cheats
The base game has a bunch of death types your sim can experience from anger to starvation and everything in between. Using the below cheats will turn your sim into a ghost with the corresponding death trait.

Note: The Death by Contributing knowledge from Discover University has the death by overexertion trait, so it would be the same cheat code. Also, the emotional overload death from Enchanted by Nature is just a base game death of hysteria, embarrassment or anger.
