The Sims 4 Cottage Living Cheats
I wish most cheats for packs worked like the Sims 4 Cottage Living Cheats do!
These cheats are mostly shift click cheats that let you do things so easily without needing to understand long cheat codes.
Skill Cheats
Cottage living comes with the cross-stitch skill that lets you sim create adorable pieces of art with thread! This is a minor skill so it has five levels, so the cheat will end in the number five and that will max the skill.

You can change the number 5 at the end to any number from 1-4 to get a different level of the skill instead.
Death Cheats
In this pack we get two hilarious deaths where your sims can be attacked by a killer chicken or a killer rabbit. You can use a simple cheat code to turn your sim immediately into a ghost that has experienced these death types!

You can also access the killer rabbit death by turning on cheats and then shift clicking on your sim. You’ll see an option that says kill and there’s an option that says Be Slain by a Vicious Killer Rabbit.
Animal Treat Cheats
Animal treats are awesome because they can turn your sim different colours, make them turn into an evil chicken and so much more. However, they can be a pain to get the first time. You can hold down shift and click on a fridge in your sim’s house and you’ll see options to:
- Create All Feed Recipes Ingredients in Inventory
- Create All Feed Recipes in Inventory
- Unlock All Animal Treat Recipes
Rabbit Home Cheats
Around the world you can find small stumps that are rabbit homes where you can find wild rabbits. If you befriend a rabbit you can even place these on your own lot. If you hold down shift and click on one of these you can choose to create rabbit in home and this will spawn a random rabbit you can chat with.
Bird Home Cheats
Just like with the rabbit homes you can hold down shift and click on the bird homes to find cheats too. This lets you do a bunch of stuff including:
- Discovering Gift Preferences for the birds
- Resetting the gifting cooldowns
- Controlling what the birds are doing from socializing to being away
Chicken Coop Cheats
Holding down shift and clicking on a chicken coop has a lot of options. This will allow you to do things like:
- Creating Eggs in Coop
- Creating a Hatchable Egg
- Creating a Hen
- Get Special Upgrade Part (Livestock Upgrade Parts to Upgrade the Coop)
- Make Dirty
Cow and Llama Home Cheats
Holding down shift and clicking on an animal shed you get a couple options on here. If the shed is empty you’ll be able to use an option to spawn a llama or a cow instead of purchasing one. You can also do this to get livestock upgrade parts.
Animal Specific Cheats
If you shift click on a llama you can create wool in inventory which will spawn some basic wool that you can sell or use in cross-stitch patterns.
You can shift click on animals and choose to cheat socialization outcomes by either choosing to always succeed or always fail at animal socials which can impact your relationship with the animal.
You can shift click on animals to cheat relationships too, setting the friendship with them super easily.
If you want to dress up your animals but don’t feel like putting in the effort you can shift click on an animal and choose to get all animal clothes and it will put each piece into your sim’s inventory immediately.
