You can get some good stuff from vending machines but if you aren’t careful your sim can experience the sims 4 death by vending machine.
This death comes with The Sims 4: Snowy Escape and can be a surprise to many players.
How to Get Death by Vending Machine in The Sims 4
In Mt Komorebi you can find vending machines all over where you can purchase food or Simmi Capsules for the simmies collection. However, from time to time the items can get stuck, and trying to get it back can be detrimental to your sims existence!
After using the machine it will give you a notification either saying vending machine items received or letting you know that they’ve gotten stuck.
If they get stuck you can click on the vending machine and have your sim shake it. This can go well and your sim will immediately get the stuff, or it can horribly and your sim will get crushed.
A sim who survives the vending machine will get a +3 Uncomfortable moodlet called close call.
A sim getting crushed isn’t always going to end their life, sometimes they can throw it off themselves and survive.
However, if they don’t the sim will be stuck under the vending machine and The Grim Reaper will come get them.
Vending Machine Ghost
The vending machine ghost has a funny visual effect where you can see a can of soda floating and spinning inside their body. Weird, but hilarious. Plus, it looks like the soda is spilling out!
These ghosts will get the death by vending machine trait that says “This Sim couldn’t handle the crushing force of the vending machine and died as a result.”
If you have this ghost try and shake a vending machine after they’ve died they’ll get a +2 scared moodlet called Flashbacks of Being Crushed that says “It all happened so fast… This sim just wanted their items that the vending machine ate. Why did it have to eat them? Why did it have to squash him?”
